At the same time I want to tell my age and I don't wanna.
Friggedy frig.
But trust me, I could easily be ten years younger than you.

As far as I know quite a few members including me joined when they were 13-14. There's even a couple of members who joined when they were 10-11.

I just feels weird because nearly everyone else is an adult. Most of them at least. The series isn't really "hot" anymore.

Heck, I was born nearly three years after GT ended in Japan.
In... 2000...

I'm 13... And my birthday was just over a week ago...

Waaah.

Happy (Late) Birthday!

It scares me that today's thirteen year olds were born in the 2000s.

Well, I'm 15, so it saddens me that I never got the chance to grow up with DBZ. At least Kai is on UK TV right now, even though it's at the start of the Cell Games right now so the end is near...sigh. I remember how hyped I was when I saw the initial trailer for the UK broadcast. I couldn't even sleep until about 2am that night, and yet 11 months later the show's reaching its climax. Hopefully they'll license GT or something.

You didn't miss much. Waiting a week just to watch an episode of filler (hey look it's a rerun of that episode where Goku works on a ring puzzle! my FAVORITE EPISODE) wasn't great.
A YouTube channel with no AMVs on it? I know, it's hard to believe.

Short answer: Old enough.

Long answer: Too damn old on the days when I lack proper perspective.

That is kinda scary... Also somewhat cool for those being born on the year of the millenium. :D

I think 90% of us are adults. I am happy to say I am an adult.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
