So, am i the only one who didn't disliked the movie (i find it very enjoyable, best DBZ movie for me) but found it a disappointment ? i was so hyped, knowing Toriyama is the one who wrote the movie. oh well *sigh*...

So going from the front page that BOG will be release in 26 countries. I guess we should hear something from the US soon.

There's a lot of countries in the world. I hope the states are among them, but it seems like we should have been the first to follow suit.

Haven't been keeping up with the topic in the past 4 months, my bad for asking this.

So I'm guessing by the current chatter the status hasn't changed for us in the U.S. right?

Has their been any sign or hint from the past couple of months that would point to us getting it soon other then the current article?

Still no news for Portugal release. But there's still hope.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

Well, the promotion in Italy is even striking football matches. Here you can see some Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods advertisements in yesterday's Lazio VS Juventus game!

I think this is the first time that Dragon Ball is promoted in a football stadium.

Yeah, the script for the TV broadcast was terrible, but the old voices were awesome. Paolo Torrisi was one of the few Gokus that could capture the childish nature of the character WHILE sounding badass when needed. Meanwhile i feel like Nozawa makes a great childish Goku but has real trouble sounding badass (except her screams, they're epic!), while Schemmel is the opposite in that he has trouble capturing the innocence of the character (but the Kai dub improves on this).

R.I.P Paolo!

Did he really die? Listening to that clip, I really didn't feel like any of the voices fit.

If the movie comes out in the US then I would imagine we will get a rating from the MPPA. Fusion Reborn got a MPPA rating and I think BOG will get a similar rating.

Yes, he did die. Along with the guy who did Freeza.
Actually most of them are either old or dead. I believe only Piccolo and Vegeta VAs are still with us.

I heard the new voices too and they are... really generic, they don't fit that much. Also that sample clip left a bad taste in my mouth, they even mispronounced Saiyan!
The only decent new voices are Bulma and Muten.

Hey guys, not sure if this has been mentioned before, but on the Brazil Netflix they have BoG in Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese. No English subtitles available though. Just thought I would let everyone know.

I'm gonna buy this movie sooner than later. It's part of my 2014 Dragon Ball purchase list next to the Blue Bricks and Z movie packs. l could easily watch it now, but I'm honestly holding off until I can actually purchase it and watch it on my own TV. I support my favorite anime, and since this is a part of the Dragon Ball franchise I obviously must have it to complete my collection. Speaking of which I recently saw for the first time Akira on Toonami, and I plan on buying it this year on blu-ray. I wanna watch the original with subs of course. Shit is epic as fuck.

I know so many folks who watch anime online for free... I buy manga and anime because I love it. Owning it is a good feeling. These days I'm thankful One Piece continues to be released on DVD here in the states. I was late to buying it and only own the collections. Collection 9 is out in April!

Thanks for the headsup!
Watching the Spanish dub just for kicks right now (even though I don't speak it). If y'all have netflix access, you can check it out through this app called "hola" available on PC, Android, iOS, and etc. The Cantonese dub was horrendous on account of the fact that no one from the Cantonese dub of the series reprise their roles.

And if you must know, it's Bills, WIss and el Dios Super Saiyayin.
I haven't checked the Portugese dub yet.
The world is your's.

So I've just been watching a few Battle of Z videos. Why are people still insisting on calling him "Bills"? His name's right there. In the video. Spoken by the characters! What's the deal here?

There are people that use "F-r-i-e-z-a" because that's how the great, all powerful, all knowing, FUNimation does it. And yet, FUNimation uses "Beerus" and I see people going "Nah fuck dat. his name is bills damit. wat kindof a name is beerus for a god of distruckshin." I know there are some dubs that have adopted "Bills" as their chosen spelling, which certainly doesn't help in making things any less confusing.

This whole situation is just a massive headache for the (online) DB fandom. The thing is, people don't even know where these names come from, what the reasoning is behind each one of them, why some people are using this and others are using that.

Ugh, observe: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/720091-d ... z/68362379

Someone should make a video or some sort of feature explaining the name, so we can just link that everywhere.

It's kinda funny/ironic. You got fans complaining about a name FUNimation is using, because they saw something different in their fan-subs...except FUNimation is right this time.
