He could have used a Crystal Ball to see the past, and thus Super Saiyan 4s.

Yes, like I said, something related to clairvoyance. If Baba can do it, I don't see why can't he. He's magical prowess must far surpass Baba's.

Food for thought: it never was stated in Neko Majin that the saiyans were destroyed. And I'd like to see Kakarot as a what if, ya know if Goku never bumped his head. I know they kind of did it with Turles (which I hate) but they could do a lot more with Kakarot like Super Saiyan and just a cool what if story. But the Turles movie should have been about Kakarot from an alternate dimension or something instead of a random character who looks like Goku just cause most lower class Saiyans do. It could have been a lot more emotionally investing and what not. And Onios wife, think she was a Saiyan too? And other than the plot hole about Elder Kai knowing Super Saiyan 4 I actually wouldn't mind Bardock having SS4 considering his story set him up as the Super Saiyan of legend and normally I don't support giving all these characters transformations, especially giving him SS2 for no real reason

That's a really far-fetched theory. Also, as far as I remember, Elder Kaioshin seemed very sure of what he was saying, it wasn't a theory.
Elder Kaioshin had previous knowledge of a new transformation for Saiyans which he dubbed Super Saiyan 4. I'm willing to accept clairvoyance as a source for this information, coming from his witch half.
Never thought of watching the past through his witch powers. I like this one more.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

The official Heroes twitter account has updated with brief information about JM3 already. Most of it is obvious and/or vague, but I figure I'll pop it up in here anyway.

The next set will include a new AGE setting, new characters, a new battle system/mechanic and a surprise.

I'm going to go with it being a bit to soon for that. It's been like two years between SS and SS2 for him. I can't say I really see them throwing him another transformation in only a two month gap (though I'm not really ruling it out).

Two of my 2014 predictions were new character/form predictions for Heroes. If the surprise ends up being a new form for Coola or Cold, or possibly my "out there" Bardock /King Vegeta fusion prediction, I hereby demand to be called "Edwin the Prophet" from now on. :P

I was hoping that Hero Legacy characters would be after when the Shadow Dragon arc cards are finish. I'm betting the surprise most likely be Gogeta Jr as the new card.

There is nothing saying the GT Special is going to be the content of the set. It's likely going to be the 3-Star Dragon, something from Z (hopefully Neko Majin) and maybe continuing to branch out on Red Ribbon Army characters for Dragon Ball (or starting another arc).

I think the rumored SSJ3 Vegetto is the surprise

We need SSj3 Adult Gohan, SSj3 GT Goten, SSj3 Vegito and SSj3 Bardock to finish up the SSj3 line up. After that, no more SSj3's since I'm getting sick of it despite it being my favorite SSj form.

Just Goten and Vegetto, for balance with Trunks and Gogeta. Gohan doesn't have a single need for it with Ultimate, and Bardock doesn't need anymore transformations thrown at him.
