To be on topic here first before going into that rant, is anyone else curious about the silhouette below the avatars? The text says it is a boss, but I can't think of any characters left that fit the design?

I assume you mean your Redux project. From what I have seen it seems fine as is. Are you trying to incorporate Heroes into it as well? If anything id only use it for design notes (the good ones anyway, looking at you SSJ2 Bardock..).

I'm merging the Heroes characters and forms into the project, be they the what-ifs or the avatars (who are being used as the DBO protagonists, unless we get something else later that makes that impossible). But the fact that I need to make as six Saiyans SS3 now is going to wreak havoc on my intention to keep the plot balanced. I could have the non Saiyans keep up with everyone at Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2 since the gaps aren't that big. Throwing SS3 in the mix is going to cause gaps like those in the actual manga, making a lot of characters useless in comparison.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say the SEC will be a new Buu absorption.

There were rumors like a month ago that Buu would be the focus of this set and that SS3 Vegetto would be the secret card. Don't know if they had insider information or just guessing, but they got half of it right....

Ah okay. Unfortunately, that sounds a lot more likely. I was hoping Buu having such a big presence in the middle of the art could've meant something.

Regarding the blacked out image next to SSJ2 Beat, all I can think of is Liu Xing Long. The long hair and bulge in the head area just resemble her design a lot.

Now with your Redux plot, id have just avoided trying to put video game material into it, and only use the games for design notes like the incoming female SSJ3 and what i assume to be a new form for the Freeza race avatars.

It's an old card (Buu Arc BTW) and that's not a transformation mechanic. lol
That has Vegeta summon his ape self to the battlefield for a single attack from the time-space warp thing. These versions are much stronger than than the regular transformations because they are only around for one turn instead of permanently after the transformation is activated.

Huh? It's very likely that the other races are just getting a costume change, the same way they did from the original release to the Galaxy Missions.

In brief: Heroes JM3 will prominently feature a "Majin Buu Birth" storyline (with multiple endings?!). There will also be upgraded avatars (as hinted at with the ending of the latest chapter of Victory Mission), new stages such as inside Majin Buu and the Kaiōshin Realm (also hinted at in this past month's Victory Mission), giant bosses, and a "Dark Dragon Ball Battle" system.

Crazy stuff they're working into the JM updates, it seems….

I guess its safe to assume that "Buff" Boo and the other Kaioshin might become playable.. But like I said earlier, if Buff Boo becomes playable will he Be a transformation for Kid Boo or Super Boo. But I guess since this update is going by Boo's birth it'll be Kid Boo.

But this is DBHeroes, so curve balls are expected.

I'm wondering if they mean Buu's actual creation, or just another iteration of his his awakening in the Buu Arc? I'm leaning towards the first one, though the art for the announcement doesn't exactly help clear things up.

As for the buff Buu, if they include him, I have no clue. The only transformations any of the Buus have are Evil Buu's absorptions (Piccolo, Gotenks, Gohan) and his fusion with Uub. So he'd probably be an absorption of one of them with the South Kaioshin...but then again, I guess that would require them to make the buff Buu absorb the Dai Kaioshin to become innocent Buu? But then again, Evil Buu isn't a fusion of Mr. Buu and Pure Evil Buu... I just rather not think about it. xD

I think we will sooner then we think. I'm betting DBH was one of the reason why she got made in the first place. Bandai needs new character and most likely ask AT to make a new character. AT most likely Gine enough to put her in the upcoming special chapter.
