If anyone's ripped out DBZ Audio, could you please...
...Share the footage, but with the soundtrack gone? That, is, the SFX and voices would still be there, but not the soundtrack? I had a bit of an epiphany about why I didn't like Shunsuke Kikuchi, so I want to start a thread where I not only outline how I feel, but post examples of how certain scenes should've been with some of the music that I really like (besides Team Faulconer. Using that score would only weaken my position and make me seem like I'm only complaining because I'm a FUNI fanboy...which I am, but that's not why I dislike the score).

Well, I don't think that's allowed, but as an alternative, might it be easier for you to point out YouTube clips and ask us to mute the volume when we watch it?
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

I could do that, but I don't think the FULL IMPACT of the music is reached without the vocals and SFX to accompany it, you know? Actually, I used a bad choice of words now that I think about it, so I'm going to edit that.TheBlackPaladin wrote:Well, I don't think that's allowed, but as an alternative, might it be easier for you to point out YouTube clips and ask us to mute the volume when we watch it?
But anyways, what I meant was that the vocals and SFX would still be intact, but the soundtrack itself would just be gone, that's all. So it'd be like the footage Team Faulconer got when they were scoring the show.

You could take the center and back left and right channels from Funi's 5.1 audio but the issue is, it's not quite as simple as the music only being in the left and right channels. The sound engineer will move bits of the music and a lot of the SFX into the right and left channels too so you end up with a pretty rough and weak sounding isolation.

Back when I was heavy on removing music out of videos on youtube , I noticed that a lot of the times, the sound effects would be removed along with the music, leaving only the voices. In other points, removing it was impossible as they would be mixed in with the voices+SFX
This doesn't seem to be an issue with Kai. but as far as DBZ, the results might not be desirable.
EX: I ripped the music out of the whole Vegito vs Super Buu Fight, and the whole kidbuu fight. But I was left with only the voices, and no or very little SFX.
