"Battle Stadium D.O.N." FAQs

Post by Sebastian (SB) » Thu Jul 20, 2006 6:02 pm

I making this thread for anyone who can answer questions concerning "Battle Stadium D.O.N" for the PS2 & Gamecube.

My question concerns the unlockables. Is there a possibility that anyone can make a list of what to unlock & how to do it? Thanks in advance.

To unlock things, you need to play the slots after you complete story mode. There will be missions during story mode. Complete those to get coins. Rewards are usually by 15. So sometimes you will get 15 coins, sometimes 30, sometimes 45. During slots you need to get 3 Jump Pirate symbols across or diagonally. It is basically impossible. While playing, occasionally the lights will dim except for that symbol and a different tune will play. Unless you are stupid, you can easily get the three Jump Pirate symbols. Then you will get to a bonus round where there will either be a card, character, or stage symbol. They will have ? on them. Same thing as before, nearly impossible until the lights dim. You will be playing story mode A LOT. Anymore questions, ask and I will get back to you.

By the way, the cards you win at the slots is for another mode where you can use the cards to make special matches. Like my favorite, no time limit. (Too bad I only have 6 of those left)

Three Questions
What are the controls for the game (Gamecube)?
How do you get into Burst Mode?
How do you pull off those specials?

I switched my controls. I think the default was...

Z - grap
L or R - guard
Y - special
A - jump
B - attack
X - super special
up - jump
left - left
right - right
down - duck
down and jump is to go down a level
jump and special is usually like a third jump

You get Burst Mode when you are winning by a lot.

Pull off those specials by pressing X once the gauge reaches the line in the bar (usually turns yellow). Hold X to charge it. Press left or right (some times diagonal too) to decide which direction you want it to go if you aren't facing the way you want it to go.

What's the difference between the super specials & regular specials?
Any other secret characters aside from Cell & Majin Buu?

Does Sanji's eyes turn into love hearts when he fights Nami or Sakura?

Super specials do more damage if dealt and can be charged. You need a certain amount of the gauge to be filled. Special attacks are like regular attacks, except they are stronger and use the gauge.

No more. Only 20.

No, Sanji's hearts don't turn into hearts. This would be hard to do since you also can fight 2 others that aren't female in the same match.

I don't know if it will come out in Europe. It also depends how well it does.

No, only 20 characters.

DBZ - Goku, Gohan (Cell Saga), Trunks, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza, Cell, and Buu

One Piece - Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, and Usopp

Naruto - Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Lee, Gaara, and Kakashi

The alternate costumes are just different colors and they are automatically done when more than one person uses the same character in a match.

Nope.

EDIT: EvilGamerX beat me to it.

ANOTHER EDIT: How the heck does Usopp play? I mean all he's got is a slingshot......Is he a good fighter?

YET ANOTHER EDIT: I was wondering does anybody know who's the seiyuu for the Narration voice in the game? It sounds like Ryo Horikawa to me, cause I know he speaks fluid english &, interestingly, he did the voice for Capt. Falcon for "Super Smash Bros DX (Melee)".

While I haven't got the game (yet), I do have a question. I've heard Luffy goes into Gear 2 when he activates his Burst. Is this true (he should be emitting steam from his body)? I've seen a video on YouTube but can't say I could easily tell if he was Gear 2 Luffy or not.

Yes their is Super Saiya-jin. That is Goku, Gohan, Trunks, and Vegeta's burst. They also go SSJ when doing their super special, or when their regular special is charged fully.

SSJ Kakashi is easily the best character in the game.
