I'm sorry to say, but honestly, the only good voice in here was Tarble... Goku was really not fitting and lifeless. While Vegeta's voice could've been something, it sounded like a dead performance as well. The rest of the voices were mediocre at best. Kinda a bummer you didn't get better people auditioned for this, because I had been looking forward to this since you started spreading the word about this.

Well, I appreciate the honesty at least... I'm not going to try and defend my Goku because I selfishly self cast as him and Gohan and at this point I am not going to change it, but I have to disagree with Vegeta, at least. In my opinion ConfusedPhantom is one of the best Vegetas I've ever heard save for Ryo Horikawa himself. But hey, to each their own. Maybe your opinion will change once the full special is released. Vegeta doesn't have a lot of screentime in the trailer so you haven't seen a lot of him yet and some of the other guys that I have cast do a pretty awesome job with the other characters.

Hm, I agree. I'm not happy with how those reads turned out. I'm definitely going to redo those ones. I really liked Tarble and Piccolo, though.

Damn, I wished I auditioned sooner. I had a semi-decent Brian Drummond as Vegeta impression.

As for the trailer, I have to agree with sangofe, Goku just sounds kind of bland and Vegeta seems tired/forced. Tarble's decent though.

Haha, that seems to be the general consensus! I'm glad that everybody likes him so much! NitroEX does a great job!

An updated trailer has been uploaded! This is the debut of Chichi and Kamesen'nin! Also, Vegeta and Goku have been rerecorded! Whether the performances are better or not are for you to decide, but I personally think it's very much improved. Also, Tarble recorded his lines recently so they've been updated in the new trailer!

The acting is much better for Goku and Vegeta. I still don't like that voice for Goku, but I guess I could tolerate Vegeta's voice. It's certainly more natural sounding and the acting's much better. Chichi's voice and acting's not great... It kinda sucks. Kamesennin's all right; the typical voice you'd expect. From what I remember, the other voices haven't really been improved. Especially not Tarble.

The Goku has certainly improved! I think most of the characters sound good in the second trailer

As a result, we've completely redone the voices and tone of the special as well as digitally remastered it in order to create the definitive viewing experience! Watch the new trailer now!
