The art is good but the panels leave something to be desired. It took me a bit to realize that the "zip" in the third panel was where Zarbon used to be. The second panel should have had some indication he was making a move.

I can't imagine Nail not arriving, though. He'll kill Zarbon, the Ginyu Force will arrive, someone will kill Guldo (is he weaker than Zarbon?), Nail will probably smack Recoome/Burter around a bit only for everyone to get killed by Captain Ginyu around the time Goku arrives.

But Ginyu will be taking the DBs to Freeza, and Nail won't let Jeice run away to tell Ginyu about what happened.

And I was confused about Zarbon teleporting too.

Oh my GOD this fight feels like a drag. Neither of them can do anything to Zarbon, we get it, get Nail in here or have Zarbon kill them. I hope those punches killed Gohan and Krillin just so it will be over.

He can't just kill them, he has to find the dragon ball and they might know where it is.

Sadly, he was mistaken for Goku's mother, and named her after this minicomic instead of this fanfic. But it's ok. Give the old man a break, and remember. His first words in the interview are.... "I don't remember" (twice)

Seems like he won't be changing DBM to fit the canon - and I consider it perfectly reasonable on his part.

*smiles* Saligir you arrogant prick, Goku's mother's being a meat distributor and not a Super Elite is so much better and hilarious in so many ways.

Hmm. I couldn't take my own self inflicted hiatus from the comic and read all the pages so far at once today-The battle against Zarbon, as well as the entire chapter is pretty well paced to me.

I don't get the joke. Is it because that alien thingy was a cook? I'm honestly confused. What's the joke? Ugh. Hate how he pointed out the "remember folks! He said I don't remember...TWICE". I might disagree with the Goku mother revealing but why was that needed to be pointed out? Just say "Goku's mother have been revealed but my Manga was first and I can't change the canon. It's too late now".

Goku's mother's name ended up being "Gine", and one of the jokes in the comic is that the Varga is carrying around the vegetable her name is a pun off of; a "negi".

If it's a big thing, I prefer when fanfic writers stick to what they've already written instead of trying to change it when new information comes out, like here. I may not like Hanasia in the slightest, but how could he swap her out for Gine without making it horribly messy? Best he could do would be to say Goku had a different mother in the mainstream universe and every one branching off it but that would work but also make for a completely irrelevant difference between universes (and it'd make Hanasia even less important). Otherwise he'd have to straight up re-do earlier chapters which would take time and just isn't worth it.

Agreed with you on that, Saiga. It'd just be way too tough to retcon things at this point in the comic, so the only thing Salagir really could do is exactly what he did - make comments on it (which I took to be tongue-in-cheek honestly), and keep doing what he's doing.

It's already what I fear with my fanfic, at the rate I'm going at finishing it - something else is going to be announced in regards to a second movie before I finish it, and it's going to ruin some of my own plans, gah.

But it's what you risk when trying to write a story that you want to be "canon" while the franchise is ongoing in any way.

Yes, Zarbon sometimes look very creepy, or derpy, but, i personally don`t like way Gohan is drawn, guess Nail should arrive soon, or Kuririn will be killed, and Gohan gonna beat Zarbon

This artist has problems with rendering movements and dynamic shots. In the fourth panel, Krillin and Gohan's bodies should not be aligned with their necks/heads. The way it's drawn makes it seem like they are solid statues, with rigid necks.

I think Zarbon and Dodoria should be replaced with the Ginyu Force which would be better than them standing next to Frieza because of its title that says "Get The Dragon Balls Back", that means Frieza calls Ginyu Force to come here (after Zarbon's killed by Nail) and order them to get the Dragon Balls back for Frieza. That's what I think.
