@Dboxkaifan Maybe someday ill get the Japanese Dragon Boxes for Z and Dragonball but right now i don't own a region free dvd player unless any of the following are

1. Xbox One
2. PS4
3. PS3
4. Xbox 360

I am holding out for a possible english release of the other dragon boxes as time passes if it becomes evident that I'm screwed I will get them but right now it isn't on my track down list

I bought an external region free dvd player for the laptop. Or you can get a cheap external dvd player and just set it at the region for the Dragon Boxes (I forget, region 2 or 3). That's what I had for while, they cost like $30. That and I use Action Replay Max for my PS2. It works for me.

AnyDVD.
No need for external hardware. AnyDVD will just strip the region coding for anything.

Thanks! That's highly appreciated! Anyway, I don't wanna repeat myself but you sure know what to collect! I thought nobody collects old original Weekly Jumps except for a completely crazy and insane person that is me. I guess I'm glad you've destroyed that misconception of mine...

Not an entirely Dragon Ball purchase, but my issue of Saikyou Jump March 2014 just came in, along with the Episode of Bardock bonus.

Snagged me this SSJ5 Trunks figure at a local flea market for only 30 bucks. HELL of a deal considering I have seen this bad boy on ebay for nearly 300 bucks if not more.

So I got Super Butoden 1 and 2 on eBay this morning for $6.80 and $6 respectively. Not bad if I do say so myself! Now I just need to rip those tabs out of my SNES so I can play them!

Just ordered all the Dragonball saga sets including The Saga of Goku and the GT singles including A Hero's Legacy. I'm a happy camper now.

So basically buying the JP boxes again, and now at better prices :D
I paid about $600, about the prices I see with everything it originally included on Yahoo auctions.
Shipping was free so that was a big +.

And note, image is from the ebay auction just won it 8)
Finally paid, so I guess it was purchased today well transaction completed today.
Paypal can be a real jerk sometimes, did get the item paid for and did apologize to the seller for being late.
Paypal seems to limit credit or debit cards if used for payments to a foreign country, they told me it's a permanent limitation! Thankfully a local retailer sells paypal gift cards which is how I paid for them and used a prepaid debit for the other half.
Paypal has given me the worst headache that you can possibly imagine!

Edit:
Paypal limited my account because I used their gift cards, they saw it as suspicious. How is it suspicious if it's their gift card?

What country are you currently located in? Where does this figure originate (i.e. what company put these out)? I don't think I'd be interested in even buying one but I'd be interested to know more about this. :)

Let me know how removing the tabs goes for you! I want to do the same, but I have terrible luck with modding of any kind (my dreamcast top won't go back on and I broke a NES toploader trying to give it RCA jacks...)
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
If it's the original model, removing the tabs will allow for any super Nintendo game from any country. I've done the same mod 20 years ago, just get a pliers and twist the tabs off.

These are my most recent purchases. Next, I'd like to get that BoG Blu-ray that has the English subs on it.

Welcome to the fanbase!

It's a decent way to start the series (given the options it has) plus when you can get the Dragon Boxes, you'll feel more accomplished :)
