DB: None of the anime yet, will wait until the upcoming UK Blue Bricks come out, 1st Viz 'kanzenban' 3-in-1 volume

DBZ: 6 of 9 UK Orange Bricks (will buy 7-9 next chance I get), 24 of 26 Viz manga volumes

GT: None yet, will wait until the UK Mustard Bricks get cheap

Kai: None yet, will wait until a UK release of the Parts or Seasons is announced (I'd like to have Yamamoto on them but there's no chance)

In parts? I've gotten a little bit of almost each major US release and a little of the R2 DVD singles. However, none of them were such a substantial amount. They were just a few episodes that I really liked here and there.

In total? Once with the US DBox and the Blue Bricks. Twice if you count what currently exists of Kai as a "whole series." Four times if you count buying the entire Tankoubon twice (once in English and once in Japanese).

I'd say that's a relatively modest amount of Dragonball in my life considering how many times the anime and the manga have been released and rereleased.

(Edited to include the Blue Bricks)

I bought the seasons bricks, from Dragon Ball to GT once, and for that reason I don't plan on double-dipping with the Z Blu-ray bricks. I did, however, buy all of Kai on blu-ray with enthusiasm because of how it was presented. I personally viewed it as a separate product from Z.

I own the first 3 DBZ movies on VHS, Bojack Unbound Edited on VHS, as well as the Bardock & Trunks specials on VHS. I went onto buy all of the steel books on DVD, and then for some strange reason, I double-dipped and bought them again on blu-ray. Not entirely sure why. I think it might have been because my blu-ray player was brand new to me and I knew where I could get them all really cheap and I wanted to desperately expand my blu-ray collection.

I bought only one release of the manga from DB to DBZ, as well as Dr. Slump, and even that one issue of Shonen Jump that had Chapter 5 of Neko Majin Z. If Jaco ever gets released here (or already has and it's just unknown to me) then I'll get the Shonen Jump issues with those chapters too.

If anymore DB related movies come out on DVD/blu-ray, say the Jump Special, Bardock 2 Special, Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans, or Battle of Gods I'll be getting all of those too. I suspect that if the original Dr. Slump ever gets an English release, however, I doubt I'll buy that. Not much interest really. Although if New Dr. Slump ever got an English release then I'd be all over that.

In recent days I've considered buying a copy of the GT Complete Series Brick and selling the whole series, movies and all, and just keeping the big GT brick and Kai. I'd probably keep the steel books over the blu-rays for the movies. I just like those steel books so much that despite my love for blu-ray, I'd deal with the DVDs for those fancy steel book cases.

-Japanese tankōbon
-A few Japanese Kanzenbans
-A few scattered Viz DB and DBZ comics
-Getting the Viz's Full-Color comics
-The Kindle edition of the first few volumes by Viz

Dragon Ball:
Just the Blue Bricks and Movie Singles.

Dragon Ball Z:

-Got the Edited VHS out of curiosity
-FUNimation anime and movie singles
-Orange bricks (sold)
-FUNimation's Dragon Boxes (Sold except for Box 3 and 5)
-Double Features (both DVD and Blu-Ray, which is to say, kind of a waste, but I'm glad I have the steel books)

Dragon Ball GT:
I really on have the GT TV Special FUNimation single.

Dragon Ball Kai:
-FUNimation Parts; didn't bother getting the Seasons for a consistent score, since the placement was apparently abysmal.

Video games:
-Bought DBZ/Budokai four times; PAL, NTSC-J, NTSC-U, and a R2 HD collection.

Anime releases:

DB:
I've bought the blue bricks and the french releases, in addition to some of the old boxsets from funimation.

DBZ:
Well, I bought random singles of FUNimation's first DBZ run, I've bought Toei's Dragonboxes, and I've bought all the french "collector" releases of DBZ, so that makes it two complete times, and half complete. I've also bought Dragonbox the movies and the french boxes.

DBZ Kai:
I bought the two big french collector boxes that came up.

DBGT:

When it comes to DBGT, the only complete release i bought was the GT Dragonbox.

That's not counting DB, DBZ, DBGT fansubs.

Manga:
I own the complete "collector" edition of the "regular" editions from glénat. Great translation.

I bought most of the DBZ VHS's, all of the single DVDs (including the steel books of the movies), the season sets, and finally the Dragon Boxes. Now, I don't forsee myself buying DBZ again unless there's a format that has a ridiculous number of episodes per disc and some special features.

I bought the DB Saga sets, never getting rid of those.
Bought the GT singles, and the season sets because they take up less room. I won't get rid of the singles b/c they have the NEPs.

Like Mike, I've bought Dead zone many times: VHS, Pioneer DVD, Ultimate Uncut DVD, the redub 3 pack, the steel book.

I have never bought anything in the Dragon Ball anime series so when I want to watch anything from that I just use Hulu at the moment. For Dragon Ball Z I bought some of the Orange Brick sets and eventually picked up the U.S. Dragon Boxes and now even the new Blu-ray seasons. And lastly with GT I bought several of the singles but ended up getting the compete Green Brick series. I might have some VHS copies of Dragon Ball Z laying around in my attic but I haven't seen those in years. Not too bad for me but then again during the time of most of these releases I was but a wee child.

Way back in 2001 my mom bought me the captain ginyu assault vhs tape when I was a kid. 11 years later I bought Dragon Box 3,5, and 7 then I bought Dragon Ball Z Kai Season 1, part 3 and part 4 on DVD then I recently bought season 3 and 4 of Kai on Blu ray.

Manga
VHS
JP Dragon Boxes
US DVDs
US Dragon Boxes

I'd say quite a bit, no longer have any VHS tapes other than broadcast stuff.

I gave all my DBZ VHS's to my cousin, who sold them for drug money, and no I'm not kidding, sadly.

I actually did a tally because, while I don't think I've gone off the deep end of repeat purchases, I do have some overlap.

Manga: 42 volume Viz Shonen Jump Tankobon (sigh... 16 DB and 26 "DBZ")

DB: 14 episodes VHS fansubs
First 13 episodes 1995 dub on VHS
All but first 13 episodes on 2-disc Saga set DVDs
All four movies but own DB Movie 3 twice... first as a single purchase and then as part of the 3-movie set

DBZ: First Garlic Jr. volume and both Trunks volumes on VHS
Pioneer's movie 3 on VHS
20 episodes of VHS fansubs
64 episodes of DVD singles and Ultimate Uncut Editions
All 13 movies on original FUNimation single DVDs
Both TV specials on original FUNimation single DVDs
First two "season" DVD bricks (sigh...)
The entire series via FUNimation's Dragon Boxes

And then there's GT. Not sure what all I own but don't feel like checking. I don't own the whole thing, but there's no overlap.

So, yeah, there are a few DBZ episodes I own three times, but there's a pretty small percentage of overlap, and the only time I've attempted to buy the whole series is through the DBoxes. So, yeah, I'm totally done with buying DBZ at this point.
