The Saiyan arc is 51 chapters, which were divided among three volumes.

The Freeza arc is 84 chapters and five volumes.

The Artificial Human arc (Trunks special included) is 92 chapters, which could be five or six volumes depending on how they divide it up.

The Majin Buu arc is 99 chapters, so I would say six volumes.

I hope they finish for the sake of finally getting us the Kanzenban extras in English. They avoided it with the Vizbigs, but they wouldn't be able to do that here.

Wait? What you mean Kanzenban extras in English. Please let me know before I canceled my ordered for volume 2. if they going to do something special with the splash pages too, I would like to know.

I'm just talking about the alternate ending and the bonus panels during Majin Buu's death scene, both of which are Kanzenban exclusives.

I believe those made it into the digital release of the Full Color edition.

Exactly. :) The Full Color comics use the Kanzenban version, so if Viz gets that far, we can assume that they'd finally translate the new ending. That's why I was saying I was hoping they'd get that far.

You know, I never heard of bonus panels for Majin Buu's death scene. What was added?

Well, I was going to give this thing stars across the board, until a page just fell out. It wasn't ripped out, it just fell out, as if it wasn't binded properly. Hopefully it was just a defect on my copy, but other than that, I'm in love with it. We get Toriyama's masterful drawings in full color. I didn't expect them to be that good, but I was surprised. The colors are nice and vibrant, everything pops, it's just great all around.

I'd contact Viz about this. My 3-in-ones had ink splattered on a few paged. It seems they're having printing issues.

So, these are still listed as $14.99 on Madman's NZ website and $24.95 on the Australian one.

It sounds too good to be true...but you can pre-order now, so maybe it's not a mistake after all.

I find it interesting they made SSJ Eyes blue in the full color when the full color pages of the original Kanzenban release has them like the anime.
Granted the blue they went with also works well.

I think the colour in the anime is actually closer to blue than those green ones.

It was discussed before that the anime's "super cyan" eyes tend to have a make up of about 8% red, 40% blue and 52% green. So, much closer to blue, but still predominantly green.

I'm sure this was likely covered but in the Kamehameha battle between Gohan and Cell, did they have Goku in base form or SSJ1? I have seen images of both so clarification would be nice.

Does anyone here think that Viz would ever put these "full color comic" collections in Viz big editions or maybe even a future hardcover cumulative release? I know there isn't much history to support such a release but I really do not want to buy more items that will just end up taking up so much space.

And they're all gonna be around here long after we're dead. So, in a way, those things are more realer than any of us.

They're already bigger than the VizBigs to begin with in terms of size, but It's way to early to tell if they're gonna do the 3 volumes in 1 for the Full Color Viz Bigs, if ever made at all.

I've just ordered it. Let's hope I don't find any problems with the binding quality.

Yeah he was, even in Dragon Ball Kai which was supposedly to be closer to the manga failed to maintain the original hair colour of Son.
