Dbz for Kinect doesn't count. I wouldn't even consider THAT a game, Dbz for Kinect was just.....an abomination that never should've happened

Definitely has to be Ultimate Battle 22. I remember renting this fantastic gem of a game at a local video store and I was so disappointed when I played it at home that I returned it that same night. I literally got on my back with the game and returned it after playing it for about an hour. Never again would I want to go through any experience of playing that game.

They've changed my life - changed the way I act on the earth. Doesn't that make them kind of real? They might be imaginary but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around here long after we're dead. So, in a way, those things are more realer than any of us.

Tie for me between DBZ Sagas and Battle of Z.
Raging Blast 1 was pretty awful in its own degree as well, but I hold It tied at a second beside Tenkaichi 1.
Taiketsu for me is nostalgically unplayable on a totally different level.

If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

I can understand why you'd think Sagas and Taiketsu are horrible games but RB1 and Battle of Z, really?
RB1's gameplay was broken here and there, plus the camera being unable to follow the opponent was annoying as hell but putting these negatives aside the game works really well and the customisation is some of the best I've seen in a Dragon Ball game.
As for
Battle of Z I feel people aren't giving it a chance but if they did they'd enjoy the game, its meat is on the online mode and playing the characters with those awesome cards makes the game a whole lot better. It's a special kind of Dragon Ball game that you only have fun playing online because otherwise it's pretty empty and short (complete the story mode and the offline mode is completed).
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Taiketsu is definitely the worst of the Dragon ball games I've played. I don't think I won a single fight in that game. Legacy of goku 1 is pretty bad too. Sagas is bad, but I've put so much time into that game that it has become a nostalgic and almost happy experience to play.

You got off lucky. I got Taiketsu as a gift from my girlfriend at the time. I've 100%'d it. It never gets fun.
Well, genuinely fun anyway. I tried playing it recently and just found myself chuckling at the awfulness.

With attack animations this terrible, there is no way I could be as optymistic. Remembering we're on post-current gen consoles and this is what Namco gives us.

The worst Dragon Ball game that I played would probably be the first Legacy of Goku game. Sagas would probably be a close second.

I didn't mind Taiketsu at the time, haha...

It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.
Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Going from what I've played?
Battle Of Z: Lack of a real mode to battle the CPU. Pre order DLC that after two months, got sold as dlc to buy. when said characters should have been in the game to be playable and free to boot. (Even better games such as RB1+Rb2 had a playable Vegitto)
Bad character models. No local play. Mind numbingly simple gameplay. No proper blockstun. One of the worst games i've played this ps3 era
DBZ Taiketsu: Boring from what I remember. I bought it, and got insansely bored with it the same day.
Final Bout: Bad gameplay . Content. Liked the music and the intro though, for whatever that's worth.
That's it, really? A lot of other games played as a child were what I enjoyed, though i imagined that if i were to play them now again, i'd put them as crap. Like BT1. Other games such as kinect or UT were games i never played.

GT Transformation was an awesome beat'em'up game guys! if you love beat'em'ups you would love that game!
For me the absolute worst Dragonball licensed game was final bout,it was my first ever DBZ game and boy it almost made me lose hope for ever playing a good dbz game the ONLY good thing about this game was the cocktease intro which pumps you up to play garbage.
Seriously just watch this intro!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Df-pYkKxQg
This intro is like a hot girl trying to hook you up with her ugly fat friend the game.
The only thing i hate more than this game is Dragon ball evolution for psp only because its like a bastard child of shin budokai and dragonball the movie abortion.

I would have to say Final Bout. Extremely CLUNKY and slow gameplay. UB22 could be better but once I memorized all of Goku's moves it didn't get as boring. I loved the music tracks in UB22 also.
And as for Taiketsu; at least that one played like Mortal Kombat so I'll give it a 1.8/10.0

Yeah, after finally buying Final Bout (don't worry, I only paid £3), it's definitely one of the worst.

There are a lot of close competitors but I couldn't give the title to anything other than Final Bout. So unbelievably stiff and a mockery of what a Dragon Ball game should be. I haven't personally played Ultimate Battle 22 but if it plays anything like that, it'd be up there too.

I just feel sorry for the people who paid £100+ for a copy back in 1997. It almost makes it look like FUNi had Bandai reprint it out of pity.

The only true answer is Taiketsu
Final Bout and UB22 have nice music. Taiketsu has static

Pretty much what he said. I can only stomach UB22 and Final Bout for the lovely fight melodies. Taiketsu had some Legacy of Goku Bruce Faulconer remixes... but still don't hold up well enough for me to bother with.

Taiketsu, then Ultimate Blast.
