May not exactly be related to the DBD, but I'm thinking I should switch my usage to Blooma. I'm starting to think the name pun should be more obvious, especially when the katakana is barely altered and Goku is able to notice it straight away. That scene doesn't even make sense in the English versions, and it's been bugging me a little.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I really liked your breakdown if the movies! I tend to watch the dub with the subtitles on to see how accurate it is. Eh, iffy. It was also weird with it being one of the first pre Z Dragon Ball things ever dubbed. Bulma was different, I think Goku had the same voice as in movie 3. Still love the Japanese version. But, watching it the way I did helps in trying to figure out how accurate they are. Still more accurate than their late Z movies. God is Movie 12/13's scripts terrible. Although I did like how they punched up the Hitler look a like's dialouge. He kept repeating himself in Japanese. Between this video and your Might Morphin ZyuRanger/KakuRanger/etc. I've subscribed.

DBD: The 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai Arc Part 3!

Amazingly, it was a year ago today that I posted my first Red Ribbon Army video. Can't believe it's been that long. Hell, it's been almost two years since I started this series. But I decided to keep the tradition alive and do a Christmas video this year. And so, Dragon Ball Dissection December comes to an end. As always, let me know what you think.

Thank you so much, everyone, for the microphone advice. I'll try to answer them when I'm feeling a little more alert and able to properly process them. :P But at any rate, I'm hoping this attempt is a little better from an audio perspective.

Excellent Christmas gift! I can't say I noticed any difference in the audio or anything, as I didn't notice a problem with it before.

Interesting placement! Can't wait for what 2014 can offer for this series! I wonder if we can make it to Namek... :P

For Mr. Toriyama saying, that Tenshinhan is an alien, it`s unfortunately write into fact, that after 23rd Budokai, he try to make DB Earth more similar to our Earth, during DB arc, especially at tournament, we can see quite a few humanoid animals in audience, and i didn`t spot any at 25th Budokai.

I just wanted to pop in to let you know I'm still massively enjoying these reviews. I think you're incredibly good at what you do and I'm a pretty picky bastard when it comes to reviewers. I've also watched your Zyuranger/Power Rangers review twice over which I thought was very informative too. Sorry if this post sounds needlessly sycophantic I just don't have a Youtube account so I can't rate your videos or subscribe to your channel but I still want to tell you how awesome I think your series is going. :D

"You can always count on Piccolo to maintain his common sense" I disagree with this, but that's a subject made for another time. Let's focus on daddy Piccolo first. I agree that villain Piccolo just makes things happen, I love how he keeps winning until the very end.

Good call on the Tao Pai Pai/Piccolo Daimao comparsion. Seriously, most people say "every arc after Daimao arc was a rehash" while ignoring that the Daimao stuff was a rehash too. I also don't think 23rd Budokai is a rehash of the Daimao arc, but whatever. I also like the separation between how Goku is separated from the cast and still active (this arc), and just separate from the arc in general (Namek).

I noticed you like MMPR too. When DB:E came out, people were making jokes that the MMPR movie was more Daimao arc like then the DB film.

As Kid Buu implies, a new DBD is out!

DBD: The Piccolo Daimao Arc Part 1!

I just had to go to bed before it was uploaded because YouTube failed me the first time and decided to skip all those pesky video parts of my video.

Wow, people really attack others for having their opinion? That`s just so...stupid, I'm really curious at what you think about this story arc, i personally love Piccolo Daimao arc, he really deserve nickname "Satan" he got in Polish manga/anime, to this day i remember Piccolo killing Shenlong. And, it`s only time, when Goku want to kill, through all arc, he want to avenge his best friend death, of course It still have some flaws, like twice deus ex machina for Goku,, and i still think Goku should not be able to ride Kintoun at that point, his heart was filled with revenge.

Wow, I am surprised to see another one of these so soon! I figured we would see another Batman or random and obscure addition before you returned to Dragon Ball Dissection. I agree that the repeating of the water power-up storyline is pretty silly, though. If Toriyama had thought up the Saiyan ability to recover from near death experiences here I think that would have been a great way to foreshadow the future.

I can't believe I didn't realize the King Piccolo arc is a rehash of the final Red Ribbon Chapters. I suppose with the higher stakes and character deaths going on, you can't see the recycled plot unless you study the manga.

This one is one I honestly didn't enjoy as much as the rest. The tone felt different.

Woah, I was really expecting the Piccolo Daimao arc to get spot #9, but that's looking unlikely at this point.

My new prediction is that the Buu arc will get it. Personally I don't like the Buu arc all that much, but based on the arguments I've heard in it's favour, that seems likely now :P

That's more in-line with my opinion of the arc. I've heard it said, though, that the Buu arc is genious because it's the last arc and it's basically a parody of everything that Dragon Ball has become.

Very glad to see this back. You had told us you were getting busy again and I for one was stating to wonder- but then these also take so long to throw together that I really should not be.

I don't know if I can agree with the cry that King Piccolo is a repeat of Red Ribbon since Tao Pai Pai is not the entire arc. But then you have at least two more videos to sort that out.

"Buu's #1 Buu's #1" 8)

It's about time the burns start coming, though, most of the top half of the bracket is already filled.

It makes my day when one episode of this DBD comes out. It's always fun to see the series from the POV of another fan. Of course people will disagree with the rankings, but if everyone tought equally, then it would be no fun.

I never noticed that the Piccolo Daimao arc is a re-hash of the Red Ribbon arc, and i've gonne trough the manga multiple times. Also, i agree with everything you said on Piccolo. This arc is really a game changer. Tough i generally like the first half of the manga more, i can't wait to see how DBD will handle the common complaints people have about the portion of the story that's adapted on the "Z" anime.

I'm going to make a guess and say the Cell arc is going to rank last while the Boo arc will be on top of it.
