Seriously. I've had several DVD and CD cases come snapped in shipment. One of them was a Dragon Ball blue brick with a broken disc holder, which is a pain to replace. I'm shocked the Dragon Boxes I ordered from there never had any damage.Fizzer wrote:I try to to avoid Amazon.com now as their packaging tends to be awful.

I've ordered so many things from Amazon, and I rarely have a problem.

Likewise. I think the worst I ever had is when I ordered a few complete series bluray sets and one of the case has a tiny little piece of plastic chipped off at the corner.ABED wrote:I've ordered so many things from Amazon, and I rarely have a problem.
Then again it didnt come in Amazon's personal boxes so I cant really blame it on them.

I used Amazon for almost a decade and I never had any issues with it. Same with Ebay since I never had any issues with it for the past few years.

None of my US Dragon Boxes arrived in what I'd call perfect condition. They were sent in those foldy-cardboard things usually used for books, not actual boxes, and all had little bumps and stuff.

Did you watch any of it yet? Do you have any initial impressions of how season 2 looks in comparison to season 1?rs_chaosmaster wrote:This just came today man I love Right Stuf It is my preferred destination for all my anime items. How do episode 73 and 74 look? My guess is that their film masters of the 35mm fim episodes are all blown down 16mm prints, though.

Same here. Amazon has been one of the more reliable online services I've used (and that's been for about 5 years straight now).ABED wrote:I've ordered so many things from Amazon, and I rarely have a problem.

Say what you will about the actual presentation of the anime but I love the cover art on those BD cases! I can't wait to have them all side by side, really great stuff. And yes post some impressions of the second season when you can!rs_chaosmaster wrote:This just came today man I love Right Stuf It is my preferred destination for all my anime items. Impressions huh well if you are a fan of the English Dubbed DBZ this set has some great extras 2 20 minute interviews with Sean and Chris and a funny head shot collection from Justin Cook I found out a few things about the Funimation Dub Z that i didn't know. Sean moved to NYC during the Android Arc and didn't tell anyone that he was flying in every day because he was afraid they would recast his character. Now that is dedication he said he refused to let this part slip away from him.

So is season 2 as bright as season 2 (orange brick)?
Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
Never paid much attention to this guy. Always laughed at his awesome intro and clicked away.JEFFMAN219 wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulY2c5EPdB8
Well informed and presented if a little repetitive. Would be nice to see more larger anime reviewers talking about this release and it's awfulness.

His intro was pretty funny. I lost it when his video ended and he started rapping about Dragon Ball Z.AjayLikesGaming wrote:Always laughed at his awesome intro...
His video was pretty decent though. It's good to see his heart's in the right place, and he did hit on all the right points.

If he had money to spend on flights every day then surely he could've managed to get a temp room in the city until things settled.rs_chaosmaster wrote:Impressions huh well if you are a fan of the English Dubbed DBZ this set has some great extras 2 20 minute interviews with Sean and Chris and a funny head shot collection from Justin Cook I found out a few things about the Funimation Dub Z that i didn't know. FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
Which font did they use for the title cards? The same ones they used for the DVD season sets and Kai or the more plain simple look they used for the level sets?
Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
Some people have 'Season Two' already?

It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.
Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.
