Same here I can't to hear a faithful English dub of the buu saga and once funimation finishes releasing this I am done buying DBZ for good.

What? I'm totally lost. Hows it on the April magazine if it's only mid-febuary??? I mean I know they do next month previews, but that would still be march. I stumbled across this page, so forgive me for my stupidity.

& I hope if there is new music, the dvds/bluerays will give us an OPTION to use the original score... (music not the VA) because I really enjoyed it. I do like Kai to most degrees, I just enjoy that option. Also please keep buus/daburas VA the same. I really enjoyed those. Any other changes I can understand however.

Kei17 sometime ago reported that Majin Boo arc of Kai will have a new score and thank god for that 'cause the Kikuchi soundtrack of 5 BGMs per episode was extremely repetitive and annoying. Toei's putting some effort into making Kai suck less than it did last time (Artificial Humans arc to Cell's arc).

DEFINITELY excited for this. Hope FUNimation reveals their release dates, and inevitable Nicktoons airing dates.

I gotta say, despite SS(2?) Goku's hair being a bit off, I actually think the style (Yamamuro's?) is improving. It seems sharper and less bubbly.

Well I'm far from done lol. Going to get all 9 Seasons of the BD as well as this. I'll probs end up getting the cell Saga Kai at some point too. (Don't like the music, too repetitive imo). Hopefully the Buu saga has a fresh new score.

So, we know that there's going to be a new composer for this arc. How likely is it that he'll go back and do the rest of Kai too? Because if he does, and it's a good score, AND FUNimation manage to re-release it somehow, I'll finally pick up Kai.

Agreed with NessMudkip. I stopped buying Kai after Part Four, and don't plan to buy the rest if it's a misplaced Kikuchi score.

Man oh man, the excitement is certainly palpable in here isn't it? Count me as a +1 for the great party that is new Kai though. In the midst of rewatching Kai and I should finish by the time it starts to air in Japan so I cannot wait! I wonder how long the Funimation dub will take to release? My bet would be sometime in Fall 2014 but it'd be a heck of a surprise if it was released in summer. They have been working on the Funimation dub for quite a while though already.

Very good news to wake up to this Monday morning and of course it falls on President's Day too!

It's 2014 and seeing how the Majin Boo arc will be mostly for the international market, if Toei Animation has their eyes on the DBZ Season BDs success then we might have the Boo arc of Kai all in 16x9 AR.

By the way, Episode 98 was an STD release so it doesn't even count.

Well, since Kai was "canceled" back then, I'm hoping it was just there to show that Goku's going on crazy new adventures or something.
