I don't think so. But on the other hand, they may show it if they want to include
this filler scene in Kai.
That's what I was just thinking of too, but then I thought that there's no reason for them to have to show that, since it could be easily excised. So it would all depend on what they want to do, yeah.
Granted, I like the Otherworld tournament, so it wouldn't really bother me if they kept allusions to it and then that filler scene later on, but it would kind of defeat the purpose.

It would be fitting to keep it in but good god that YouTube video's quality gave me a headache for being absolutely atrocious.

Well I woke up to something good this morning
However I'm more excited for the English dub than I am the Japanese version.
I wonder how long it'll be?

I can't wait to see what the new intro and ending theme looks like!

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years!

I'm curious as to why people are excited for this, we knew they'd be making it available but other than that doesn't have much to go for. Yeah sure it'll get a new English dub (I couldn't careless) but seeing a closer anime-manga version will be sorta cool and Masako voicing Goku/Gohan/Goten is always a pleasure to hear.
The new animation will most likely be the OP + Eyecatches A/B + ED because the rest looks like to be cropped, brightened, saturated and sharpened. Gotta milk for all its worth, right, Toei Animation? Guess so.
Anyhow, I'll only get my hopes when I actually see the picture quality in motion and the background soundtrack too.

Of course people will be excited for the continuation/finish of Kai! I don't see how you could not be even a bit enthused with this upcoming release. And I'm guessing you had problems with the original release of Kai too then, right? I don't see it as "milking" the series by merely finishing the manga content, which Kai was originally supposed to cover in full (and which it now finally is!).
I'm much more hopeful and positive then you are in your assessment and I just know this will go over well for both my wife and I.

They've changed my life - changed the way I act on the earth. Doesn't that make them kind of real? They might be imaginary but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around here long after we're dead. So, in a way, those things are more realer than any of us.

My gut tells me they're gonna recycle Dragon Soul. Do we know who is doing the score?
I hope the dub replaces Goku, Gohan, and all thin Buus.

You mean the English dub? If so I highly doubt Schemmel will be replaced as Goku.

Since it's been what over a year since Cell ended, perhaps it will all be reanimated like the credits?

We already know this to not be the case. It will be the same as
Kai has always been: the existing footage color-corrected / filtered.

Do you think we'll have new random animated scenes like they did in previous arcs?

There were no "new scenes." Are you thinking of scenes that were completely retraced?

Cell turning Perfect was different in Kai than in Z. There was an extra scene added. Also in Freeza Arc when Krillin got the power they completely re-animated it. Once he Krillin got excited. Then back to the old animation.

Hi Everyone,
I have some exclusive news from
Christopher Sabat regarding FUNimation's plans for the Majin Buu Arc.
He told me in a few emails this morning that FUNimation not only hasn't dubbed any of the episodes, they also have no current plans to do so.
This completely refutes Sean Schemmel's earlier statement in his interview in April 2013 that he was about to wrap up his work on the Arc.
This means we won't be getting the English dub for a while.

That's definitely odd. It makes me wonder what Schemmel was recording back then...

I know Sabat might not lie, but maybe he's just saying that to get us excited or something.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

What the fuck? Well we know that they will dub it some-day. But what the fuck? Sean lied? The hell Sean? Seriously...
Unless Sabat is lying but there is no need to.
I'm FUCKING CONFUSED!

I really hope its the NDA talking. I know people dont like the dub and to be fair I'm not crazy about it either. But DBZKai is needed to save both Vortexx and Nicktoons! And for a new generation to see the Majin Buu Saga!

Honestly I think the New Gen have seen the Boo Arc by now. Either by thinking it's Kai when it's really Z or their older siblings. Like myself. My brother watched Boo Arc once Kai ended. It was ENG dub with JPN score. I didn't do JPN audio because Funimation's Boo arc isn't that bad. He understands that ENG Dub was inaccurate so he reads the manga to.
