Original Dragon Ball UK DVD Release (2014)
Re: Original Dragon Ball UK DVD Release (2014)
I think most people outside of Kanzenshuu care very little about whether the footage comes from the sagas or the seasons, and are more bothered about their sets of the three series matching and looking good next to each other.

That technically may not be true. Even if it's the same source material used in the saga sets, a new and hopefully better encode of it can still count as it being digitally remastered. Sure, it won't be the same video stream from the sets that use the matching packaging.....but is anyone gonna buy them and complain about how they look slightly better (?) and have more on-screen footage?dbboxkaifan wrote:Not only is it false advertisement "Digitally Remastered"

Who is this general group of people complaining about how they're actually trying to maintain some consistency with the packaging? I mean, among people that are actually getting all of these UK sets as they come?dbboxkaifan wrote:the older collection was never known as "Seasons" *sigh* Manga UK.
As long as they replace the logo on the covers with the original anime logo and put the grown Goku back in the 5th cover, I don't see any valid complaints with the cover art.

The FAQ gave the response to that but they decided to go with the dumbed-down covers because the customers wouldn't know the difference of it anyway.
I've picked up Dragon Ball: Collection Part One which is ideal (Dragon Box: Dragon would've been far better but oh well) which has the entire DB series in 2 boxes only rather than 5.

FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
