Blegh, that Gohan looks absolutely ugly.

Cell on the other hand at least looks semi-normal. One of the better drawings of him in the current style.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Meh, the art on the cans doesn't really bother me. They're cool to have.

The taste is actually quite strange though.

Thanks :)

Still need one of the GT singles and the Fortune Teller Baba set has torn cover art, so that needs a replacement as well.

Oh boy. Make sure you take care of those bad boys and enjoy them the best you can! You must be completely euphoric these last few days. I remember you starting from the process of having them shipped and it's even gratifying for me see you finally get them all.

They've changed my life - changed the way I act on the earth. Doesn't that make them kind of real? They might be imaginary but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around here long after we're dead. So, in a way, those things are more realer than any of us.

Don't the Dragon Boxes Z have a picture that connect the two boxes together?

And as for my recent Dragon Ball purchases...

1) Dragon Ball: Evolution - R2J
2) Dragon Ball Z: World' Strongest - R1 FUNimation (already have Pioneer but this was pretty cheap too so why not)

Plus some other stuff but unrelated to Dragon Ball.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

@DragonBoxKaiFan Thanks BTW if it wasn't for your harsh but honest opinion on my US Release a few weeks ago I would have never even considered picking up the Japanese Ones they are far more extravagant than the English Releases still hoping for the Dragon Boxes on Blu Ray though :P

Ah damn, last time I was there (just after New Year) they were sold out. Too bad I wont be back in the North East for a long, long time.

And with that purchase, I may call my Dragon Ball DVD collection complete.

Image

The Trunks special is from the Australian release (it was new and cheaper than the U.S. release is now on Amazon). And boy, something took me by surprise!

Image

The subtitles! Compared to the ones on FUNi's releases, they're just freakin' ugly! Three lines at the same time, font that looks like Comic Sans - it looks like a poor fansub

I'm still waiting for my full colour :(. Amazon UK still messing me about on my order. Grrrr. On their mobile site it says available on Feb 27th but their main site says:
This title has not yet been released.
You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives.
Dispatched from and sold by Amazon. Gift-wrap available.
Getting really annoyed now. Been like that the last 4 weeks.

Damn that's really taking a long time for them to get your item on time, I just hope that for Vol. 02 and 03 they're dispatched early because I've got them on pre-order via Amazon UK.

Rukiri @ That book illustrations is a lovely addition to a Dragon Ball collection but I was kinda bummed there weren't any GT animation from Toriyama in this "Complete Illustrations".

They do this with new graphic novels too. Comic book stores usually have them 1-2 weeks earlier then Amazon UK. Unfortunately they stock them at full RRP. However, they seem to be taking their time with this one, was expected it to ship last week. I think Amazon are going downhill now. They've stopped free delivery on items under £10 now, so can't buy single Manga volumes now too :(

The release date on Amazon UK for Full Colour Vol. 01 seems to be 27 Feb 2014 so it's just a day away.

I've been to few comic book stores but those guys kinda creeped me out so I tend to just buy all entertainment online, besides it's easier and cheaper. Search for "Dragon Ball" on Amazon/eBay and there ya go!
