Well, it's been a couple of years so I suppose I should update.
I'm now 17 and in my last year of college. I've been with this site since I first started there, which I think is kinda neat. It means I can see how I matured and how my writing style changed (if at all) during the time I spent there. I wonder what I'll remember more in 10 years time...school or this website? I'm leaning towards
Kanzenshuu, to be perfectly honest.

Wait, your 17 and in your last year of college?! Is that how it works in New Zealand? I'm 17 as well but I don't start college until later this year.

Oh, right.
I guess college over here is what you'd call 'High School' in the States. And then I guess college to you guys, is 'University' to us.
I hope I got that right.

Huh, I thought NZ would be the same as Australia. We have High School, then University/College (same shit for us really).
Also I'm 20. Will be 21 in holy shit only a week? I need to organise my party already.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on
my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Nah, some people have actually been on here for as long as a decade.

I was wondering about that too. That makes sense. These terms seem to be unusually convoluted; to my understanding, college and university are two words for the same kind of institution in the US. Meanwhile in Canada, they're two different kinds of post-secondary schools.
Oh, and I'm 24.

Now that makes sense.
But I'll still imagine you as a child genius who got his college degree at 18.

40, and probably the oldest DB fan in existence, lol. I got into it when it was released as the Funimation dub, in my 20s. My best friend and I would watch it together on his tv and make fun of it at first but we gradually got really sucked in. I'm a huge geek, generally speaking, but not otherwise a huge anime person. My other major fandom is Star Trek (I would say I'm dominantly a trekker but minor in DB).

No worries about being the oldest at 40. I'm 31, but there are a few 40+ers hanging out there!

I'm 24, but it still hasn't quite sunk in yet - to the point where it's almost like every time I give my age the voice in the back of my head asks: 'God, when did that happen?' It has been that way every passing year after 16, really.
But yeah, I'm an adult - and to prove it I work in an office, pay bills and do laundry and stuff. Watching 20 year old kids cartoons keeps whatever shreds of my childhood imagination remain alive against the backdrop of the banality of 21st Century adult life. Is that what they call a Peter Pan complex? I'm not so sure.

I'm 37 my friend!! Age does not affect me. With all my daily duties and responsibilities, I'll keep DB until the end of my days!

Lol, yes!

I'm 26 and I was a huge DB fan when I was a kid, but kind of lost interest after I grew up. Last year I watched the BoG movie in a proper movie theater, something I never thought I could do when I was a kid, and it prompted me to re watch the whole series and Kai. Needless to say, I rekindled my old love for DBZ and I think I'll be sticking around for a long time in the fandom.
