What would you like see: Vegeta in a sequel of BOG or else?
Akira Toriyama made a statement that if there were another movie, he would like Vegeta to take the main protagonist role! What would You like to see, a young Vegeta having some advantures in the past, or to be the main character of Battle of Gods sequel movie?

I want something after BoG, so that I can see Vegeta developing even more as a fighter.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Post-BOG. I really enjoy the time frame.
I do wanna see some travel though, no spending most of the film in Bulma's backyard this time.

Considering I just about can't stand Vegeta in most cases prior to the current, post-manga era...yeah, I think I'd rather him get his due in a Battle of Gods follow-up. Now, if that involves flashbacks to what he did in his youth, and causes him to reflect on his changes yet again, I'm all for that.

Sequel of Battle of Gods.Vegeta really begins to improve as a character and getting SSJG would be really great.

Vegeta as the protagonist would be awesome! I would love to see him in a situation where he alone has to save the day. In an amazing fanfic I read ("Broken Down Universe" by dragonbabezee, strong rated M if anyone looks it up), Vegeta used the time machine that Bulma built just-in-case to travel back to the Cell games and fight Cell for fun. Things went bad and he was lost in time for a number of years before he was finally able to get home. It was just very cool to follow Vegeta as he tries to fix what he broke. So I'm 100% down for Vegeta as the protagonist of his own movie.
Of course I'm partial to Mirai Trunks and I would love to see a movie about him, even if it's the storyline from Dragonball Heroes where he goes SSJ3 and defeats Majin Buu.

Id like to see another Path To Power film that wraps up the rest of Dragonball. Other than that, perhaps more stuff on Goku and Vegeta Jr, a anime adaptation of Neko Majin and Intergalactic Patrolman Jaco, and the obvious BOG2 with Vegeta as the protagonist, if anything to see if more of the convoluted SSJG material gets explained.

Definitely want to see Vegeta as the protagonist, as a SSJG finally. Something post-BOG would be nice.

Re: What would you like see: Vegeta in a sequel of BOG or el
Well Vegeta starring in the main role in a movie will be different. So yeah I definitely would like to see him in the sequel if there ever is one.
Re: What would you like see: Vegeta in a sequel of BOG or el
A sequel with him getting ssj3 and ssjg would be epic plus we can get another god from another universe
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I'm wondering why do fans want Vegeta to have access to SSJ3 if in SSJ2 was above Goku in all the cases?
As far as I'm concerned I want Vegeta to be the main character of a movie after BOG in the timeline, but a sequel of BOG with no SSJ-G, and anything like this cases. Because if Vegeta also gets SSJ God then when were would be the creativity of Akira? I mean Vegeta allways imitates someone. Would be that Goku or Gohan... NO Vegeta needs to be original.

SSJG, much like SSJ4, makes SSJ3 pointless.sintzu wrote:A sequel with him getting ssj3 and ssjg would be epic plus we can get another god from another universe
Why would Vegeta get SSJ3 when theres a form available to him that trumps SSJ3 across the board? Yeah it would be nice to finally see him get SSJ3 but hell get farther with SSJG anyway.

I would love to see something during Bulma's pregnancy with Bra. All the awkwardness of him having a baby girl is just too good to leave out. It would provide a lot of comedy Toriyama wants to put lately.
Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"

I would like for BOG and anything in it to be completely forgotten and never mentioned again.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
