Member Interview Thread Idea

So, I was on the forums over at theforce.net, a Star Wars website, and I saw this topic:http://boards.theforce.net/threads/lite ... .50012784/.
I thought it looked like a pretty cool idea, and since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I was wondering if anyone would like to be involved with something similar on this site.

Sure, this seems like something that'd be pretty fun. I'm game if this gets going, and it'd be fun to read other people's stuff too.

Well, I only ever got one reply to the idea, and it never really kicked off. I'd definitely still be interested in doing it.

Unfortunately, I'll be really busy with school and such until the end of the month at the earliest (midterms

), so I won't have time to conduct these interviews until then. If someone else would like to take charge of this, I'm fully okay with them doing so, or we can wait until I have more free time. It's good to finally be getting some feedback, though

But yeah, if this were to take off, I'd find such a thing fairly interesting to read and participate in.

So like how would it work? Would it work like something like this?

The Site Editors will interview staff and members then the interview will be posted in this section.
One per week.

Repeat interviews may be conducted after a while.

How do you get interviewed?

It's random.
Asking to be interviewed will put you to the bottom of the list.

OR

Anyone may ask to be interviewed and anyone who does, will eventually get the chance. However I will say that those who are more well known on the forum will probably be getting first dibs regardless of if you ask first or not.

Maybe perhaps someone can be asked to be interviewed by a certain member?

Whenever I get time to do it, it'll be random. I'll PM whoever ends up going first, and if the time works for them, I'll announce it in this thread.

I just read my interview on Dbzf.UK. made me think of this forum. Is this still going on? Perhaps a template is needed? Shall a mod be the interviewer? Just curious but is this allowed on this website. Reading Dbzf.UK interviews and seeing how interesting they're I'm sure lots of users here can make very unique interviews.

New update. Some stuff came up that got rid of the other stuff that came up that kept me from working on this stuff. So it's on! I'll be starting up a new thread containing the guidelines for how I'll be conducting the interviews, and hopefully I can get this started tonight.
