In DBNA, Trunks hair has only grown without a cut for a little over a month. In Z, it was more than a year. His hair is only slightly longer than normal in DBNA

Do keep in mind that that scenario only happened in pre-DBNA edited DBGT. I'm trying to balance out the power levels so that people like Goku aren't ridiculous in GT.

Goku and Vegeta are both around 505,000,000 base at this point in DBNA, much less than the overpowered 4-5 billion most people put him at.

In the Bebit Unit Power System, each successively higher Alpha Class is around 3 times greater than the class before it.

For example: The first Alpha Class, A Rank, caps off at around 100,000. The A+ Rank would them cap off around 300,000. B would cap around 900,000. And so on and so on.
