Question about Budokai 3 Greatest Hits Edition
Question about Budokai 3 Greatest Hits Edition
A while back I read a comment on Youtube from this guy who is a serious Budokai player and posts lots of awesome combo videos. Anyway he said that the Greatest Hits version of Budokai 3 runs faster than both the standard edition and the HD version. He also said that there were a few tweaks here and there to characters and that it's the best version of the game there is.
My question is, is the Greatest Hits version actually faster? I already own both the regular Budokai 3 and the HD Collection so I'm just wondering if it's worth getting the GH version too when the HD version already has all the extra characters and content from it. Budokai 3 is my favourite DBZ game and I'd like to be able to play the absolute best version of it.

Re: Question about Budokai 3 Greatest Hits Edition
Are they European? Did the European re-release run at 60 hz as opposed to perhaps the original version's 50 hz?
That's the only thing I can think of.

I don't think so. I remember watching one of his videos a while back and he showed his box which was the US Greatest hits cover with Goku and Vegeta if I remember right. I believe he also mentioned that it still wasn't as fast as Infinite World though.

Do you have any videos about this user?
UK's release of B3:GHE was Dragon Ball Z - Budokai 3: Collector's Edition (I think) and Dragon Ball Z - Budokai 3: Platinum Edition, personally I prefer B3:CE because of the cover and slipcover otherwise everything's the same (B3:PE is a repackage). None of these had Bulma playable though unlike the NTSC-J but that required some tinkering around.

Greatest Hits AI plays faster than normal. Just that.
