How often do you think of DB?
I'll be a liar if I said this topic is original
So throughout the days of your life how often do you think of the series? Anything in life that reminds you of the series?
For me it's every-time I listen to music. Since I am an AMV editor(P.S. Folks my new AMV is in my signature. Check it out. Like and comment) I think of what anime could fit this song. So DB comes up in my head every day almost.

Re: How often do you think of DB?
I think about it a lot, mostly when I'm daydreaming. I used to animate a lot so when I was bored I would think up of a neat idea for an animation using DragonBall characters, only tried putting it into practice once or twice with frame by frame though. I think about it when I'm feeling down as well, I can't think of anything that cheers me up more than Dragonball, especially GT. After lurking here for the best part of 8 years I think about DragonBall a little more profoundly, I never asked questions about it before coming here.

Re: How often do you think of DB?
I think of Dragon Ball every 10 seconds. Every 20 seconds if I think of something else before or after. No matter how hard I try I can't get DB out of my head.
Re: How often do you think of DB?
All the time. Most of the time that I'm meant to be working is spent daydreaming, and the biggest chunk of that daydreaming is related to Dragon Ball. Whenever I listen to music I'm thinking about a scene I could fit it to, and while that's often something to do work my many gaming projects, it's very often "this would work for that scene in Dragon Ball". It comes up many times every day.
I actually think I have a problem. Sometimes I wish I could banish it from my head for a while, because my issues with concentration have quite a negative impact on my life, as a physics student.

Every damn day. Dragonball has basically burrowed into my head and made a nice little nest and whenever I try to nudge it out it just growls and bites me.

Re: How often do you think of DB?
Oh, every so often. Particularly since I still have material to watch (I have a movie on a double-feature Blu-Ray and Movie 12 on DVD that I haven't seen yet) and I'm going to read the manga one of these days. Just the other day I was thinking about watching some Cell and Buu episodes (Cell I will definitely revisit in full sometime, the first time I watched I found it so draggy and its nuances kind of just passed by me). DBZ is definitely a series that merits rewatching once in a while.

Pretty much just when I'm on this site. Although something will occasionally pop up and make me think of it.

A lot more when my life was less complicated. I do think of Dragon Ball on a daily basis though, just not to the extent of when I first joined.

I'd also be a liar if I said I didn't think of Dragon Ball at the very least, once a day. I mean, my desktop background is Goku vs Vegeta, so it's there if I like it or not.

Re: How often do you think of DB?
Pretty much all of the time. I always find it funny when I think back to when I was in middle school and my main group of friends loved and always talked about the show. Being the dumb kid I was I would always hate on it when they talked about it even though I had never actually watched any of it because hating on the popular stuff was the cool thing to do at that age. One afternoon I actually sat down and watched an episode (it was the one where Gohan began teaching Goten and Videl how to fly) and I was instantly hooked. It's been a part of my daily life ever since.

Re: How often do you think of DB?
I do all the time. I like to qoute lines characters say; reciting them to myself sometimes because of how epic some can be or how silly some can sound. Then there are some of the voices who are just fun to emphasize or parody. Usually Chris Sabat's Vegeta or Linda Young's Freeza. They're just fun to impersonate.
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.
Re: How often do you think of DB?
I think about it a lot (when I'm not working) because of social media; someone on Tumblr is always jarring my cogs. Or one of the blogs I follow puts up a neat bit of analysis.
Re: How often do you think of DB?
Whoopwhoop DBZF buddy!
I tend to subconsciously think about it every day since I have a ton of DBZ merchandise in my very small apartment. So while I don't think about the show itself all too much, I see something and recognize it I guess? I hang my keys on a Vegeta figure on my shelf so I sort of see him every day.

Re: How often do you think of DB?
These days hardly. I just see my collection and thats it. Doesn't even spark thoughts in my head now.
Re: How often do you think of DB?
I... think of it several times a day. Not sure how much, but too much... Sometimes I think of doing Kamehameha's, other times about flying, and other times again pictures of things characters have done pop up in my head.

Re: How often do you think of DB?
When I'm not watching it, visiting this forum or presented with some form of real world stimuli that leads me to think of it - not ever, really.
I mean, I work for most of the week, and I try to fit as much into my leisure time as possible to free my mind from thinking about my job or the stresses associated with my project workloads. I wish for the innocence of mind to have space for Dragonball in my daily thoughts as I would when I was a kid, but these days my absent thoughts don't tend to go far from "What am I going to cook for dinner after work?" and "Do I need to go grocery shopping on the way home from work" or "Should I do my laundry tonight?".

Re: How often do you think of DB?
When I was a kid during the 90's I thought about it constantly, but now I only think about it when I'm on this website, or if I'm watching the show.
