As season 4 deals with the cyborg arc, it should have been May 12th :(

Order through RightStuf and you'll more than likely receive it before then and you can start watching on the 12th :)

Funimation always release on Tuesdays.
What's so special about the 12th anyway?

Just finished season 2 last night and enjoyed it up until the last 2 or 3 episodes, the colours were a bit brighter and the right side of the screen was noticeably more blurry than the left any one else have this problem?

Yeah I noticed it as well the last couple of episodes have a yellowish tint and are more blurry.

This is an 80s/90s animated all-ages show that was popular amongst kids. It's not some potent super weapon that might fall into the wrong hands that we have to protect from evil.

its really nostalgic for me, but its awful  There was also one part were vegeta was fighting jeice and the screams/grunts sounded like a different VA. Think they might have just used the original funnimation dub for that scene.

Yeah, for some reason, they left the original battle grunts in, Ginyu I can understand due to Armstrong's age, other's I don't lol maybe they were lazy or something.
Speaking of Ginyu, I forgot what the old Funi one sounded like now lol Tbf Brice did a good job.

Amazon now has Season One (Blu-ray) for $24.99 this should maintain as the normalised price until it decreases because the hype's gone for this one (Season 3 isn't too far away).

Edit: Was watching GreenQuality5th's S1 Menu just for the music and then the comments..

Hahaha I do agree with him that I do like these sets.(Not that 4x3 is awful) but that was funny! :P I almost believe the guy was trollin...no way someone could be that stupid to not know these were cropped. the news is everywhere!
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years!

Then DBZ-related trolling is an incredibly popular practice on Youtube and social media. I see this level of ignorance all the time, and often get accused of having "never seen DBZ" or being a "casual" when I try to educate these people :P

Yeah, I put that in the 'Stupid things DB fans say' or whatever thread a little while back. It was around this time I committed myself to never partaking in YouTube comments on Dragon Ball stuff again.

Unless you run the most awesome Dragonball website in the universe or you are an employee of FUNimation working on the DBZ IP, it's not your responsibility to educate fans on what this release is. If they like it and those who are responsible for educating fans on the product aren't trying to mislead fans (like with a certain orange-ish brick-like release) with fake grain and "No! See? You're actually GAINING picture!!" comparisons, then let them be. We shouldn't stand in the way of their enjoyment even if they choose to ignore the obvious signs put out there to educate them on cropping and whatnot.

I'm... not sure if I agree with that. While I don't think people should be actively forcing information down people's throats and going out of their way to stop anyone from having fun, there is no reason why raising awareness of the facts of this release is in any way negative, especially in instances where, as the above image shows, misinformation is being intentionally or unintentionally spread. It may not be their responsibility, but it is their prerogative, and there is never a situation where having more information out there is a bad thing.

And while those "responsible" aren't exactly lying like they were before, I would hardly call those whose job it is to profit from these releases to be an unbiased source of information. They're the last people whose "facts" I would take seriously.
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:

These guys are saying "this isn't cropped" on the comments of a video whose channel has a comparison video to show exactly how cropped it is and where it's cropped. You can't get much more "Yo, this is cropped," than that. If they can't see that the release is cropped when it's right under their noses, they're not worth the time and energy. I'd much rather be having this conversation than the one you'd like to be having with them.
