I will accept this only if Broly pops up as the Super Saiyan Devil, completing my joke hypothesis for one of Heroes eventual plotlines.

I'm sure a majority of it will be humor, and I have no problem with that - but it would be nice to see something come of the 'everyone rushes in to help Goku' thing. That probably is wishing for the moon though.

People who are expecting more action scenes are being absurd.

The whole movie is full of quirky DB humor with characters that can destroy planets hanging out, even in between world-threatening combat. The main antagonist spends a lot of time just chowing down on the local delights. While he threatens to destroy the world. And means it.

The possibility that the extra scenes are going to be comedic are pretty high.

The people who were already disappointed with the movie for what they perceived a lack of serious action are likely going to likewise be disappointed with the extra scenes. What are they expecting from the extra scenes, Broly to appear?

If that means watching him getting one shot by SSJG Goku, then in the name of all that is good, make it happen.

I think I'd be disappointed if the extra scenes are only more Pilaf stuff. It would feel like a wasted opportunity.

It's perfectly fine.

Other than the usage of "Bills" and a few grammatical errors, it's a perfectly serviceable translation and better than most of the fansubs floating around out there.

If you just want the movie in Japanese with English subtitles, this is a solid choice.

I remember reading in one of the interviews that in the original script, there was a point during Goku's fight with Beerus that Goku is knocked out temporarily and all the other Z fighters take shots at Beerus again. I really hope they've decided to animate that, but probably not.

I just realized something hilarious if that was true. Since Goku keeps the god power and becomes roughly equal to it in SSJ and GT base Goku = SSJ3 Buu Arc Goku then that means the SSJ god transformation is 50x SSJ3

Oonishi Ryou animating Piccolo singing enka in an exaggerated manner would be hilarious. I hope Tate Naoki gets to do a battle scene, he was sorely missing from this film. I wonder if Yamamuro Tadayoshi will be involved with these new cuts? He is currently the character designer for the upcoming Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers.

For these extra fifteen minutes that we'll be getting I really hope they have the other Z fighters get a bit more involved in the action. It would be great to see people beyond Goku and Vegeta do some series work if only for a couple minutes or so.

And if I can't get that then bring on the comedy! And I too am curious as to whether this version of the film will ever see the light of day in the states. Hopefully the scenes are included as an extra at least in the future BD release.

That's the average length we're guessing based on previous examples, like what happened with One Piece: Episode of Alabasta.

Yes, it was purely speculation.

Julian just mentioned to me that the film is supposedly airing in a two hour ten minute block. If the film wasn't being extended that would mean forty-five minutes of commercials. Let's assume fifteen minutes of commercials air each hour. That might put us at a 100 minute runtime.[/speculation]
