I hope they won't forget Yakon, he's the only main Buu Arc fighter missing. Next will be Wheelo's team and the JSAT characters, and we'll have all the main DBZ Fighters. Only minor fighters such as Appule, Caroni, Jewel, etc. will be missing.

Well his card art shows him swinging a sword and didn't he have a sword when fighting Kid Buu?goku the krump dancer wrote:I always wondered if that was the Z Sword that North Kaioshin used to fight, I mean I doubt it because that make East Kaioshin seem really retarded for thinking it'll work five million years later. Then again he wasnt there when Boo killed Northy sooo... yea. Nice animation. Funny how Beat straight up wallops him.
EDIT: Does anyone know if North Kaioshin uses the sword when he fights?

There's no in-game footage of him yet, all we've seen is a card so far. But I would assume that there's a high probability that he will use a sword in combat.goku the krump dancer wrote:Does anyone know if North Kaioshin uses the sword when he fights?
If you want to be picky, although he is not a fighter, Babidi is missing as well. His model already exists, back in Budokai 2 I believe, and Bibidi has just been announced.JeffJarrett wrote:I hope they won't forget Yakon, he's the only main Buu Arc fighter missing. Furthermore, if you want to cover everything, everyone from Annoyoichi Budokai is missing apart from the finalists; Goku and Paikuhan. Other than the features you've mentioned, everything else would be nitpicking, like Broli in base form and Gokua transformed.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Just read the synopsis of the latest chapter, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Kabra's/Neko Majin V's curse a reference to Kajika?

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Card list is up, but waiting for about a week for the SECs: http://www.carddass.com/dbh/cardlist/in ... ory=133203
Lot of stuff going on in this set, as well as a lot of nothing...
--Piccolo got an actual fusion card with Nail. Makes me wonder if we'll see Kami later on in a DB focused update.
--North Kaioshin's has something to do with swordsmanship on his card description.
--No Babidi, no Yakon, no Neko Majin, no final form Kurieza...pretty much no surprises until we see the SECs, and maybe not then either.
--Still don't know the name the game uses for Pure Buu's buff, South Kaioshin absorption.

Buff Buu looks a lot more calm and intelligent in that picture than he does in the manga. His face looks more structured than Super Buu's, IMO, and that's kind of interesting.
Love the Kaioshin stuff too. I've always thought that they have some of the best designs in the series.

New "How to Play" trailer to go along with the update: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EEGGEIuetM
--The giant version of Liu Xing Long...has wings on her head...?
--Shows Babidi on one of the game board fights, but he has no card in the set. SEC? A waste if true...even if he is a Dimensional transfer card.

He'd be able to summon the Giant Liu Xing Long?!TheDevilsCorpse wrote:New "How to Play" trailer to go along with the update: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EEGGEIuetM

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
We don't know, but it seems kinda unlikely. The first trailer showed someone summoning the Black Smoke Dragon, and the partial background silhouette on one of the SEC cards doesn't match it or "Super" Liu Xing Long. So, that only leaves the other one...if it's even Babidi?
---
Actually we seem to have some sort of confirmation with a leaker stating that the the SECs are:
Son Goku: GT -- Super Saiyan 4 (Dimensional Transfer: Black Smoke Dragon)
Majin Buu: ??? -- Kibitoshin Absorbed
Which leaves me wondering why Babidi was introduced, but not made playable. Perhaps this month is the "Birth of Buu", April is the return of Kai, and May will be the "Revival of Buu" in Heroes or something?

Really? Kibitoshin buu? I was expecting something better than that. Anyway, it's a shame that Babidi and Yakon didn't make the cut this time around. I suppose they could still appear next set.

Wait, Kibitoshin Boo?!
I guess that if Boo had successfully absorbed Vegetto, he wouldn't split back to Goku & Vegeta then.

Well Babidi is in the game, so a card will appear eventually. It seems Yakon got the shaft once again though. I really don't understand why.Darknat wrote:Really? Kibitoshin buu? And Buu Kibitoshin absorbed? That's... Okay? I.. well... whatever. I wonder if there's still hope for Budokai 2's Buu forms in next set... maybe.

Given all the Buu related content we've been getting, I won't be surprised.DNA wrote:Well Babidi is in the game, so a card will appear eventually. It seems Yakon got the shaft once again though. I'm betting that they will likely milk Buu's forms. I think we will see the Budokai 2 forms of Buu soon and maybe Buu absorbing Vegito or Gogeta as well.

Which explains why they added his Shin Gekiretsu Shin'ou'hou (真激烈神王砲) in this set, while the Kibitoshin cards in previous sets all had Shockwave as his super attack. We don't know which Buu can absorb Kibitoshin yet, but I think it'll be Kid Buu. He can absorb the Southern Kaioshin in this set as he did in the past, and now he might be able to absorb Kibitoshin as he might have done in the present when arriving on the Planet of the Kaioshins in the series.

I wonder if they could pull off Bebi Buu? We have Bebi Janemba then Bebi Buu might be cool to see.
