Post by SpiritBomb » Fri Mar 26, 2004 11:25 pm

Hello! I'm new here, but i know you probably dont wanna hear it so I'm not gonna say it! Nope, I'm just gonna ask ya something!

I came here cause I'm kind of on a "quest", so, maybe you can help me! See I'm looking for a song, the Dragonballz Megamix. I dont know if that title is specific enough or anything.

So, i was just wondering if any of you would know where i can download it or if its here and i just didint realize it.

Thank you

PS: This place sort of reminds me of www.planetnamek.com, they shut that place down though

    8) Ooooooh..pretty smileys..just testing those out, sorry, this place is so cool!

Hey SpiritBomb! Welcome to the boards! We actually have an introductions section, so that's not true that we don't want to hear about who you are. :D Now about the song, for some reason it sounds familiar to me and I don't know why. :? Are you sure that's the right title? What's the song like?

Heyas. If you wanna introduce yourself some more, feel free to do so in the appropriate section at the bottom of the forum ^^.

As for your quest... as far as I know, there's no such song simply called "DragonBall Z Megamix." Can you tell me anything else about it? What's it a megamix of? Are there any vocals? There are some re-mastered / re-mixed instrumental of songs on the Digital DragonBall: The World CD, which you can find a tracklisting of over in our "Music Database."

Such is true. There are those Hironobu and Kuko "POWER MEDLEY" thingie-ma-bobs.

There's actually one instrumental-only MP3 Jon sent me about two years ago that I've never been able to identify; I might have even had it up for download way back when. I'm not at home with my own stuff right now, so I have no idea if that's that... but it may be.

If you want a description its often played in like....i dont know...i think they play it in one of the Mortal Kombat movies but they kinda change it with backround stuff like their yelling out attacks and Vegeta's talking a little while..its really hard to explain..i dont know, if you have Kazaa and you type that (Dragonballz Megamix) it all just pops up, the one I'm talking about, but my Kazaa got deleated...

The instrumental medley of all the ending themes? What was that from?

If it's the instrumental medley of the themes, then that's on "Digital Dragonball World". I think there is also another version on that "DBZ Music Fantasy CD" I scanned and sent you EX. I don't remember for certain though, I'll have to go back and give the CD a listen.

SpiritBomb: Yours sounds like it might be a fan-made re-mix.

EDIT: I just gave the "Music Fantasy" one a listen and ya, it's a different piece. It's an instrumental re-mix of the DB theme "Makafushigi Adventure", "HEAD-CHA-LA", and "WE GOTTA POWER".

That very well may be the one MP3 I mentioned, earlier. It'll be Sunday night / Monday, but I'll check when I get around to it...

I think I actually have what Spiritbomb is talking about. I think I dl it by accident in the hayday of kazaa. It's pretty neat, but nothing special. Mortal Kombat theme (DaDA DA DaDA DaDA...DaDA Da DA Da...er something) w/ a mix of english and japanese voices played over. Cool Brian Drummond stuff in there.

OH! Thats exactly it! Is there anyway possible you could send that to me? I have various e-mails and stuff like SpiritBomb258698@aol.com or armstrong570@hotmail.com

I've been looking for it the longest time!

I also have a strange mp3 that I would like indentified. It's a remix of Romantic Ageru Yo, Zenkai Power and Angels. I have never seen it anywhere else other than AudioGalaxy back in it's hayday.
Anyone know of it? It starts off with a trumpet like fanfare at the start.

Yes I know of that one. It is from the CD "Digital Dragonball World", track 10. It's called "Monogatari wa Tsuzuku Yo, Doko Made mo"(The Story Continues, No Matter Where It Goes!). VegettoEX has a review of the CD on his site if you want to know about it further. I think he mentions that it's a fun CD, which I'll second that opinion. I really like it. 8)

I don't understand I also have "Digital Dragonball World" and it's on mine. It's starts with the fanfare and everything. :? Unless.....wait a second, I'm just going to check another CD of mine. I have a hunch.

EDIT:Ha Ha! I think I've found the one you're talking about! I have a bootleg CD called " DBZ Music Fantasy" and the track 10 on this one also has a re-mix of those three songs, but it's a different one! It also starts with a trumpet fanfare, but different from the Digital Dragonball one. And it plays Zenkai, Romantikku, then Angels and ends with a fanfare. I'm quite certain this is the one you're looking for. I have already sent a scan in of the front and back covers of it to EX a few months ago because he didn't have it listed in the Music Database on his site. He's just been so busy with everything else he hasn't had time to really check it out. Poor guy! That's most likely why you can't find information on it. 8)
