I'm shocked Broly Buu hasent happened yet.
Back in the day, I thought this would happen in Budokai 3. I didn't know that the what-if absorptions were not returning.

I'm so morbidly curious to know what Buuli (Bruuli? Broluu?) would look like. XD

I'm more interested in the potential dialogue. "Kakarro- ooh! Candy!" :P

Likely one of the two
Hopefully neither will happen, because as soon as people start seeing it..."OMG STRONGEST BUU EVER!"

I was thinking that they could do Buu absorb Super Yi Xing Long, but it might be too late by then. It won't surprise me if they do try to do Buu absorbing Beerus next.

A new batch of cards usually mean new technique names, which in turn gives me stuff to translate. For those whom are curious here is the translation of the Kaioshin's technique names:

Mighty Powerful God Assault Wave is a pretty great name for an attack. I'm totally stealing that if I ever become a pro wrestler.

Actually, Evil Boo had absorbed Final Form Coola & LSS Broli in Shin Budokai 2! But we never got a new design, he just got even stronger. Lazy motherfuckers... :problem:

Don't count on them milking anything. We got one Baby absorption and one Super 17 absorption. Why would Buu be different? Because you want it to be?

The first Brooli image is a pretty nice rendition.

I think an interesting GT-flavoured what-if they could throw in would be Majin Buu absorbing Vegeta Baby, as opposed to swallowing his revenge death-ball and being blown up.

That was just an excuse for them to use the buffed up version of Super 17. There is nothing distinct about him. I don't class that one as a legitimate merger.

You can use whatever excuse you want for yourself, but if they just wanted to use his buff form, nothing was stopping them. The absorption of #16 is given a specific name and we see the two fuse in-game. Whether he has any new, distinct traits that are unique to the form or not, it is a legitimate transformation. Regardless of how you classify it, the fact remains that we officially got two what-ifs for Super 17. So even if the chances are still pretty slim, that opens up the possibility for more than one with other characters in the future.

To promote the Buu saga in Kai. Buu is a character that feels very toyetic where you can do a lot of possible things with his forms. I can see Super Buu's forms in Budokai 2 being made into cards and I bet that we might see cards of Coola Buu or Broli Buu from Shin Budokai 2 as well. Maybe give them designs for the forms instead being lazy.

I totally wouldn't mind Buu absorbing Vegetto, it'd probably be badass and that may make him the strongest character ever. But I hope they get a little more creative than that, have him absorb Cell or Frieza or something. The Budokai 2 transformations were cool so I hope they come back, I always wanted to play as Majin Frieza or Cell and I think Majin Piccolo would be a cool one too. I think Toriyama said he was originally gonna have Piccolo be he one who got taken over though Vegeta was probably the better choice. There's a lot of cool what ifs they can do from the Buu saga, even new fusions.

Why would Piccolo be the one? He was nothing compared to the Super Saiyans in Boo arc, even Kaioshin was stronger than him, who was also nothing compared to the Super Saiyans.

The Majin Piccolo thing was a rumor created by someone on the DB wiki and fans thought it was real. I think fans thought that was true given how Vegeta blew up the Stadium ring. That scene feels like it could be a homage when Piccolo blew up the whole Stadium back in the 23rd Tenkachi Budokai and could have people on Earth feel like the Demon King Piccolo has return. Having him turn Majin won't last long given how he has Nail and Kami inside of him allowing him to break out of control.

Well, I doubt Nail would still be around. Nail flat out says in time he'd fade into Piccolo's subconscious over time. 10 years would have passed already (11 counting Piccolo's year in the time chamber). I highly doubt Nail would still be around. Kami might still be in there considering he's been there less and was originally part of Piccolo to begin with.
