I didn't say I'd like to be having any conversation with them. Except for the rare occasion they post on my videos, I don't go out of my way to get in YouTube fights. I was just getting the impression from your first post that you were discouraging people from giving the facts to those who like this release (ie. spoiling their fun). I might have misunderstood you, as your second post seems more inclined to decrying the futility of arguing against the stubborn troll set.
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:

I probably wasn't too clear. Sorry about that.

If they're on YOUR channel and you wanna respond, then by all means that makes sense. You're clearing up confusion about something YOU posted. I just don't think time should be wasted on certain types of fans who will argue against the proof that they went out of their way to see.

Blu-ray.com's review of "season" two has been posted.

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Dragonbal ... 87/#Review

I keep forgetting these are being released as quickly as they are.

A fair review.

Hopefully, FUNImation announce season 5 in June, but I have a feeling it may be July, they surely can't be thinking of releasing every month? Although, I would certainly be happy, 'cuz I can finally own all of DBZ Uncut :D

Hopefully they'll rush through these and get them out of the way by the end of the year, then we can have something else.

Then again, if they get DB and GT masters and release matching sets of those then... Well I do love consistency...

Having seen the DBZ films (1-13) a couple of times I'll say that even if they were released on Blu-ray I just wouldn't bother because they're not that great or rewatchable too much, imo.

Dragon Ball Saga sets and GT Singles are great alternatives to the original Japanese Dragon Boxes of these two series and didn't go wrong choosing them.

Yep. The FUNimation Z Movie BDs aren't bad but I wouldn't go near them.

Guy glosses over the timing of Level set releases in approximation to Kai and the DRAGONBOX sets, price points, and episode counts; all of which he may not ever have been aware of; but then again, who has the energy to get upset or argue anymore?

"Slipcover in original pressing"

Does this mean that they'll stop having slipcovers later on?

As far as I know, nothing has been announced. However, it covers the reviewer's ass later on if they stop making slipcovers for it like a lot of releases do.

What makes you say that?

I haven't been following these, so you could very well be right. I'm just curious.

EDIT: Just checked Amazon. These sets are in first, fourth, and fifth place in "anime" sales. Bah.

EDIT #2: And all three sets are ranking really highly in "comedy" sales. Must be all that Saiyan/Namekian genocide.

FUNimation has been playing their cards right with this release, the right price and released quickly leaves the customers wanting for more, the only downside in all this was that their advertisement for it wasn't the best but it still got its point done after all.

These Season BDs started out with a lot of hatred (here mostly) but then they've become the favourite release of many people (look at Amazon reviews).

Yup, I'm one of them. I started off thinking that these where going to be absolute garbage! due to it being cropped into 16x9 and thinking that stuff was going to shake and get deleted but so far it's turned into the exact opposite. Yeah their still cropped. I really don't have a problem either with the quality. I think it looks muuuuuuuch better than the orange bricks. I'm satisfied. If I want to watch it in awesome quality and such, I'll just pop in my Dragon-boxes or Level Sets. 8)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Ya you're right I just hope that funimation starts dubbing the boo saga of DBZ Kai soon instead of re-releasing DBZ.

Majin Boo's arc of Kai will air on April 6, 2014 and if FUNimation dared to release it while the Season BDs are still coming out it would make a mess for them because not everyone knows the difference between Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z Kai. Maybe around 2015 we'll get them (same year Justice League is coming to the cinemas).

If perhaps they didn't add the Z to Dragon Ball Kai it wouldn't confuse them. I would've preferred the original title but DBZK is good too, and with a title like Dragon Ball Kai they killed any chance they had of redoing Dragon Ball closer to the manga but it's only 153 eps long so just move on to new stuff.

Well, some people are amused by fireworks. Freeza sure seemed to enjoy them. :P

Eh, I figure they'll get it as soon as they can (especially if they really have already been working on dubbing it, despite Sabat's denial), since it sure didn't stop them putting out Kai alongside...the Dragon Boxes, I think, wasn't it? Also, I'll believe we're getting a Justice League movie when it actually happens, given all the continual setbacks that keeps having, heh.

They have started shooting Batman vs Superman, so I'm not sure what set backs you are referring to. The possibility isn't that remote, I'm certain we're getting Justice League.
