Going Super Saiyan doesn't burn the clothes off

How come when Saiyans go Super Saiyan there clothes don't burn off? is it because the flame around them isn't flammable?

It's not flame, it's more like light.

Just look at the other auras that show up in the series. They don't affect their clothes either.

They seem to erupt outside the clothes. Kinda like how sometimes they're drawn with an outline of aura.

We do see something that looks like steam rising up from them sometimes, so maybe it is just hot.
