Wow, that is so weird. I was just searching for the same thing last night and was tempted to make this same thread myself!

What? I just went there, and they ship to the U.S. perfectly fine...

Yeah I thought they did. Well it's there if anyone wants to take it :D
It is clear that sometime in Mark Satan's life, he acquired the dragon balls and called upon shenlong to grant him immortality.

Australia is PAL, though, right? Which means the footage is going to be sped up to compensate from the original NTSC, correct?

Yeah the dvd is PAL. The sped up footage I believe is correct too, however I heard that it is all barely noticeable and that the dvd hardly loses any quality.

I don't think that that's the case because the original masters were interlaced. The playback speed must be the same and there's a ghosting problem as a trade off.

I also go lucky and got one of the box sets pictured earlier. A us seller was selling the single for $15 and someone was selling the box set for $15, so I grabbed the box set. I'm still looking for the second set(I only want the box so I can put the saga of goku and my US singles in them).

You can play the pal dvds on your computer. It does not look sped up and you only see the ghosting thing if you pause but you can see the lines when there is movement.
Here is an example. It looks worse then it is because its pause but you can see the lines anytime their is major movement. This also happens on the NTSC Funi singles but is way less noticeable and does not happen often.

From what I remember, they didn't make many box sets and madman switched to the fat packs pretty quickly. Can anyone confirm this?

The fatpacks are from about 2 years ago but the box sets are from like 2005 - 06.

Yeah I knew the box sets were released in 06-07, but I swear they were replaced like really quickly by the fat packs.

It ships to UK, so I'd pay £4.11 (11p fee from using PayPal).

Problem is, shipping a DVD to US would cost me like £7-10 or more and that's more than paying for the item itself.

Btw, thanks for the Fishpond like that's gonna be handy to buy DB stuff too.

I don't know about the Single "Saga of Goku" but DB Collection Part 1 is Region 4 locked so I had to use a crappy DVD Bush Player that sometime works and others it doesn't (watch on PC) regardless that the discs are scratch-less.

There's the Saga of Goku 2 DVD set for £4 now that I remember, but this version is Trimark's and the one you're looking for needs to be uncut.

Jeez not even eBay AU has any R4 Saga of Goku sets for sale. -.-
