Does anyone know what the back will look like for season 3? I hope they do a good job on it and not give us a crappy image like the one from the Orange Bricks.

Also for anymore that may not like the art style that's being used for these sets, What are your thoughts on Kai's artwork? Kinda almost the same thing in a sense :P At-least to me haha
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Yeah, seasons 1 to 3, 4 to 6, and 7 to 9 create three separate images that don't join together.

I really hope they end up including Dragon Ball in this release, as I'm interested to know how they'd handle the box art. Hopefully, one image comprised of five boxes :P

Nitpicking? I'm... not sure how to take that. It's simply not how the armor is designed.
While I agree that a lot of things about the art looks "off", IMO the stomach plating being straight/rounded on the sides seems like a very ,very minor issue. I didn't even notice until it was pointed out (While things like his hair are pretty apparent off the bat).

I see.

I guess in the grand scheme of things it is indeed minor, though I wasn't intending to "nitpick".

LaBrie, that was hilarious! (Stick Figures)

Yes! We should complain to FUNIMATION to include the true héros of this story, MISTA SATAN.
I don't like the new artstyle, it's too glossy, and round, and weird. The artstyle from the 90s was more sharp, and fierce.
I didn't notice Freezer's hand, maybe he is triple-jointed or something, being a lizard/iguana/alien mutant thing, I would see this as plausible.

I think they were going for Ascended Super Saiyan Trunks who is also bulkier than the Full-Power Super Saiyan: http://uploads.dragonballencyclopedia.c ... Trunks.png

It's the form Super Vegeta uses when he gets his butt handed to him by Perfect Cell, not exactly Ultra Super Saiyan (1.7) or SSJ Grade 6 because speed and strength were refined with Super Vegeta. http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Ascended_Super_Saiyan

Warning, the following link contains a photo of an actual triple jointed woman:

The cover of Season Four has Trunks from the Epilogue on it. At least that's what it looks like to me. It looks much better with the tank top. Well, Trunks in all forms looks a lot cooler with the tank top! I really like the covers, especially Season 1 and Season 6.

I'm actually loving the cover art for these things.... considering how cheap they are, I'd consider grabbing them up just to do a nifty display with them. :P

Thanks! But for some reason, when I try to group the order to my two other seasons on pre-order it ramps up the price to 117 for 3, instead 62 for 2.

Guess I'll have to wait until the pre-order for season 6 comes out. Damn brokerage fees.

Season 5 will drop closer to the release date, of course I'm just gonna wait until season 4 is released to pickup 3 and 4.

I'll probably order season 3 on the 1st hopefully and get 4 and 5 when they both come out.

If all of the seasons are released at 16.96 I will be the happiest man on the planet! Still wouldn't surprise me if the 24 dollar prices don't drop though since it's still a great deal.

Well considering I received some amazon gift cards, I got season 3 for free :D
But Freeza just looks... um... weird in the slipcover.

I would agree with you on that. I know a lot of people have been giving these covers crap but I just don't see most of the complaints. They are covers for a North American BD release of DBZ! They more than do the job. I think it just proves that whatever you give people someone is going to find a way to complain about something.
