I am sorry if i have sent this topic in to a negative vibe i never meant for that to happen with my comments. I don't think you should call quits on the other contests just based on a few different opinion than your own. Art is very subjective and everyone's views will differ from one another, just best to state out why you chose what you did so everyone understands the different thought process behide the decisions made.
With any contest you will have people who question this and that just stand by your decisions and explain them i am sure people will understand, you can only learn and get better dealing with how to run the contests etc, one of the most balanced ways to gain votes could be to inbox you via kanzenshuu, youtube etc.
On to what right do you have to judge ? every right, this is your contest based on your opinion, if everyone shared the same views the world would be a very boring place, not everyone is always going to agree with your choices but you have to stand by them and know you made the right calls at the time. Also i think if you were to go ahead with Z you most likely would get more entry's with Z being the most popular series of them and a lot easier for people to find art work to use etc but if you call it quits then fair enough i respect your decision.
