Re: How strong is Base Vegetto?
That doesn't make any sense. He'd have to know their entire history to make that deduction. He has no idea who Vegeta is.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

What makes you think he did?Cetra wrote:Old Kai can see whatever he wants (that perv) as we know so he can watch them. He watched them after the fusion and probably also during their argument. Also Kaioshins can read minds, so probably he knows from Kibitoshin (or he told him) or whatever. Many possibilities are given.RandomGuy96 wrote:Actually, it pretty much HAS to be referring to them being rivals in power, because Old Kai doesn't know Vegeta's personality.
I personally have Vegetto very slightly ahead Buutenks (It would be a long fight).
Canon is Jaco, Dragon Ball except for EoZ, Dragon Ball Super anime and manga (both are separate canons)

As strong as the anime portrays him. Elder Kaioshin even said that potara is just that extreme.

IDK where anyone gets the idea of Vegito being infinity. That would make him a god and capable of destroying anything with a mere punch.
Depending on whether or not you believe in Frieza > Base Saiyans, Base Vegito could range from SSJ2 Gotenks to equaling Buuhan himself.

Re: How strong is Base Vegetto?
Vegito never fought in base form in the manga. He felt it necessary to go to SSJ1 to fight Buuhan. So the real answer is weaker than Buuhan.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147
Re: How strong is Base Vegetto?
This is not true, because Vegetto himself is surprised by how powerful he is. Which means, he wasn't sure of his own power, and going SSJ by this point is just not hard at all, so why not do it anyways.Polyphase Avatron wrote:Vegito never fought in base form in the manga. Re: How strong is Base Vegetto?
I didn't say he did, I said he can and since he knows a bit about Vegeta it is a possible explanation.xmysticgohanx wrote: What makes you think he did?

Re: How strong is Base Vegetto?
He couldn't feel it necessary to go SS because he didn't realize his own strength until later.Polyphase Avatron wrote:Vegito never fought in base form in the manga. He felt it necessary to go to SSJ1 to fight Buuhan. So the real answer is weaker than Buuhan.
Re: How strong is Base Vegetto?
Stronger than Bootenks but weaker than Boohan. The Elder Kaioshin said if Goku and Gohan used it they wouldn't need SSJ to beat Bootenks. I think Goku and Vegeta make a better fusion pair with equal power levels, mind set, and covering over each other's faults. So I'd say Vegetto is stronger than base Gokan too.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
