He can take one of the Ginyu pods. Make Jeice and Guldo share one.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke

Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

In the manga, Cold showed up shortly after Namek blew up. I doubt Freeza would be kept waiting long. Cold would go to check up on him just like in the real story.

The way characters and scenery look, it kinda remind me of Phantasy Star II, for Sega Genesis.

So I did what all the complainers said when we complained about the schedule and I didn't follow the comic this whole time. Still didn't think this was that good, and the ending was just a bore. They couldn't even give me an explosive finale with Namek blowing up. I'll say it's better than some specials, but I just didn't care or learn anything interesting....did I miss something?

Another special?! We can go back to the main story already! I'm so sick of DBM stalling the main story and the comic should have ended back in 2010 or 2011. It been going on for six years already and the plot has gone nowhere.

Sounds like Naruto Shppiuden during its filler era.

It's not a special per se, but the rest of the main story we missed during Vegetto's little misstep on that alternate dimension.
During the last flashback we watched #18 and Gotenks' fights, now we'll se what happened during Bra and Tenshinhan's.

Pretty sure this is just the cover of the flashback to the "fights" between Buu/Ten and Bra/Eleim. Not a special. Honestly these are kind of pointless. Buu and Bra have absolutely no resistance until the finals, just like Goku, fighting Zangya/Eleim/Cold and Xenolium/Tenshinhan/Gotenks.

A preview on the website actually indicates that these fights will last more than one panel, but in Buu's case it's obviously because he likes to screw around.

If I'm not mistaken though, this isn't really a 'special'. It's a flashback showing us the other fights that were previously skipped due to Vegito blipping in and out. So it kind of is the main story, but also still not moving us forward.

Ack, ninja-ed.

A commenter on the dbm site made me realize something: Bra is wearing her training clothing when she's fighting Eleim.

So wait. Why did the planet blow up immediately when it took ‘five minutes’ (yeah, right) to blow up in canon?

It didn't blow up. He just razed the surface.

That's just for the release pacing of the chapters/pages. It doesn't magically make you like the chapter, it just prevents the release pacing from being an issue since you can read it in one go, which was the issue that many kept bringing up. That much should be obvious...

1. He didn't blow this planet up

2. Freeza was explicitly stated to be holding back enough to set the planet on a countdown instead of making it go kaboom immediately.

3. The weakest suppression form of Freeza was shown casually and instantly one-shotting planets anyway, without needing to destroy the core or whatever.

Charlotte has expicitely stated that she doesn't want to draw the main story of DBM. Other then that she's making (or maybe she has already finished making) another chapter about universe 16 (the Vegetto one).

As for Asura: don't worry, he's drawing the next chapter - the one that is going to be released just after this flashback chapter.

1. How it should have ended?
1.1. Do you happen to know that Salagir has stated that the tournament is only the beginning of the story of DBM?
2. Quite on the contrary - we have many more visions courtesy of Bardock, u4Buu has wrecked havoc and gotten himself overpowered and imprisoned, Vegetto has lost - and so he's out of the tournament. Please, tell me, how is it that "the plot has gone nowhere"?
