Help with Dragon Finisher

Post by DevilsAlwaysCry » Tue Aug 15, 2006 11:53 am

I am having a lot of trouble executing Cell's Dragon Finisher. The game doesn't really give you any help on how to execute it except the button imput. Can someone help me by telling me when I am able to execute Cell's Dragon Finisher and how to imput the command as it's kinda hard for me? Thanks

What game are you talking about?

You can only perform the move in the last round and your opponent has 10% or less health. It is finisher move for the character and you can only use it then.

Last round meaning after both me and my opponent have won a round each (in a best of 3 match)? And the buttons to execute the move with Cell are square and circle right?

Last round meaning that you only have to defeat your opponent one last time, and yes I believe the buttons are the square and circle.

Is there an indication that you have activated it like when you execute a hyper move?

There is a cutscene type of thing that shows the finisher. You can definitly tell that you activate it or not. For instance this is Vegeta's finisher

Oh cool, thanks for showing that. Well, I will update on this thread if I ever pull it off (but I won't bump the thread if it takes longer then 1 week). I have been playing with Ultimate Son Gohan a lot but when I get back to Cell, I will give it a shot. Thanks for everyones help.

Pressing circle and square at the same time is very tricky, so I recommend switching L1's function into square's function (punch) in the option mode. That way, you can press L1 and circle simultaneously, and with ease (instead of holding the controller in a crazy way :P ). I remember executing Vegeta's Dragon Finisher doing the same movement as his Galick Gun, but pressing L1 and circle instead of square by itself.

That sounds like a really good idea, I wll try that. I did manage to pull it off last night though (using both square and circle). That was badass! The other thing that made it sweet was not only did it look awesome, but the first time I pulled it off it was against Son Goku! I mean, that's to cool!
