Dragon Ball Kai Vocal Song Appreciation Thread

So as we approach the return of Dragon Ball Kai, I thought it'd be neat to go back and re-visit something that really defined Dragon Ball Kai for me.

Some of these border on ridiculous, but they are amazingly fun and get stuck in my head all the time. After Kai fever kinda faded, I completely forgot about these songs, but I revisited them recently and I was quickly reminded of how enjoyable these songs were. DBKai was really the first time I took an interest in DB music, so there is a bit of sentimental value in these for me. I almost feel like these songs are to me, what image songs were to older fans- even though most of these eventually made their way to the show.

Recently Only a Chilling Elegy has been up there as one of my favourites. I think this one of the ones that borders on ridiculous...

Since I assume we're talking inserts, how many did we get? I recall Saiyain Brawd, Elegy, and 18th magic, but nothing else.

The full Chilling Elegy though, on wow, I forgot who deliciously uncharacteristic that song was.

EDIT: Super Dragon Soul. Liked that.

Elegy is probably the best character song ever haha. I love it, I think it really fits Freeza's psychopathic character in a ridiculous way.

I also really like Saiyan Blood. Vegeta singing his head off is so funny to me for some reason.

Super dragon soul is good too. Great even.

On the other hand, Takeshi Kusao is not a great singer. And that Dende song is super boring.

Chou Super Dragon Soul blew me away, but it could have been placed in a better spot, like when Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan, or even when Piccolo appears to confront second form Freeza.

Thats the thing though super dragon soul is goku's theme. Piccolo's one of the few that never got a theme
