Ill probably get this game for PS2 and maybe if i get Wii ill get the game for that I cant wait till someone walks into the room and see's me putting my hands together and saying Kame-Hame-HA!! or putting my hands over my head trying to do a spirit bomb oh the awkward moments thatll be.Pedro The Hutt wrote:Especially concidering their knowledge of DBZ (and it's games) seems to be minimal. Either way, I think I'll be playing Sparking! Neo on the Wii all new style anyway. =D

Hmmm, just wondering where the hell they got the Wii.. Or even the complete version of the Budokai Tenkaichi 2 game.. Or the PS3.. Are ya sure ya don't mean PRE-views?Drunken Master wrote:My Gamepro came with reviews on games from the Wii, PS3, and 360...BT2 for the Wii got the lowest rating, lol. And I quote -
Damn, I quote nothing! I can't find the mag, but what I say is true.

I'm assuming he means previews....the reviews are never released until a month or so after the game's release....And considering there's been a lot of DBZ cover stories since Budokai 2....it's a preview.Hmmm, just wondering where the hell they got the Wii.. Someone played it, because It was a quick preview-review. I'll try to find the mag, but they gave it a 'terrible' rating. I remember reading that the controls were very sensitive sometimes, then the complete opposite and ect.
Metroid Prime 3 however got an 'awesome' rating for the Wii. Oh yeah!

I know that in a recent issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly they gave the Wii version a "terrible" in their annual E3 report. I think it was mainly due to the Wii's controller be awkward for the game. The PS2 version should play as well (probably better) than the first game, so that's all that matters to me.
Bah! Don't worry too much about what they say. As much as I like EGM, they aren't too nice on DragonBall games (unlike Gamepro who has large 3 to 5 page articles on upcoming DragonBall games, not to mention the 5+ issues with DragonBall on the cover and a spoof in one of their "LamePro" issues). I'm getting it just to have the ability to fire ki blasts amongst my video game collection.Slickmasterfunk wrote:I know that in a recent issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly they gave the Wii version a "terrible" in their annual E3 report. Yeah, next thing you know we'll all be doing it for real! Well, me maybe>(I got these new pills yesterday, and they make me fell like I'm flying. But there's like, 100 Goku's and they are all wearing tutu's...

IGN stated that you could also use the GameCube controller. So I think I'll be doing that. I doubt EGM tried that.Slickmasterfunk wrote:I know that in a recent issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly they gave the Wii version a "terrible" in their annual E3 report. I doubt that feature was available at E3. Actually it was probably all the negative feedback they got at the show that led them to the Gamecube controller idea.Omega_57 wrote:IGN stated that you could also use the GameCube controller. Probably. The article that stated that GC controlers could be used with the Wii version was posted around August 11 i belive and if the review was based on the E3 version of the game it must be the Wii controler they used. If they used the GC controlers maybe it would have recevied a higher score.Slickmasterfunk wrote: I doubt that feature was available at E3. Have you seen the poster behind Ryo Mito? It looks better than the "finalized" version of the US cover art. Why don't they use that instead?kindertuin wrote:there is a new interview

But... Ryo Mito doesn't seem very enthusiastic.

Hmm... They didnt really say that much new in that interview. The only really big thing they confirmed was that you can walk around city's and other places and talk to people to get power-ups and to be honest that doesnt sound that cool in my opinion.kindertuin wrote:there is a new interview

Well, they were talking about the Wii version quite a bit, so this might be the US cover art for the Wii release.Steven Perry wrote:Have you seen the poster behind Ryo Mito? It looks better than the "finalized" version of the US cover art. Why don't they use that instead?
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

"First page has the different additions written on it - Vanishing Attack, Lift Strike, Password System, over 130 Forms, Transform D, Dragon Adventure, Amazing Combi Battle(Tag Team) and Tenkaichi Dai Budôkai, that new tournament-thing that we've assumed to be Bojack Tournament.
Japanese release date is still 5th of October, 2006 and the Wii release date is January 2007
First page mostly speaks of the Space Pod Clock that 590 people will get (I believe.)
Second Page, let's see...It basically tells of the different new characters, and Bebi Vegeta says "I can get even stronger... !" It also says that you can buy Z Items and such, the yellow ones atleast seem to be various powerups... "Bebi Pressure", "Active Heart", "Mind Breaker", "Perfect Guard", "Quick Recover", "#18's Kiss", while the blue increase stats.
Pretty sure it doesn't say what the purple/green are. Maybe those are the characters you've gotten or such. It says that the Z-Items will be essential, too I think... So they actually do various good stuff this time around, and not just unnoticable powerups
Third page... It says by clearing events you can get items, zeni and even "free events" to open up for you. It also speaks of cards that work along with the Z-Items, I believe. I'm pretty sure it says that when you beat an event, you get items fitting that event/character... Like if you beat Cell you'd get items fitting for Cell, or so... I'm not 100% on that though.
Also, you can buy items from the Z-Store, and get "Member's Card" which will apparently bring various benefits..."

From the look of it, Giru (firing a missile of some-sort) is most likely one of Pan's attacks. (possibly her special)The Tori-bot wrote:Can I see Giru next to Pan in the 3rd screenshot? And GT Uub? *pre-orders game*
