I just got a copy of DragonBall Landmark while on vacation, and noticed that in the Villains section, a symbol is given for each baddie (or group of baddies). For example, King Piccolo and his "kin" are given the demon symbol that can be seen on his robes. However, a strange symbol is given for Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz that I don't remember seeing from the series. Here's the scan:

.
I'm guessing it has something to do with the Saiyans being a pun on vegetables, but I can't be sure. I thought I heard a question similar to this in the early podcast episodes, but am too lazy to look up every ep. Can someone shed some light on this issue?

Yeah it's definitely a spacepod. It was just drawn wrong. The door hinge should be at the bottom instead of the top.

Wow am I stupid. The way I looked at it, I thought it was some kind of leaf. But thanks
Slickmasterfunk for for understanding how one would make said mistake

'Course the way I see things, shouldn't the question topics be kinda short-lived in the first place unless it's something like an opinion topic? I mean, you can't really go on about a question that only has one answer. Just my little rant that's been in my head for a while.

But it's probably all the work of TOEI.

Well, Saiya-jin pretty much = Saiyan.

I'll bet a Saiyanfish dinner is what triggered the first ever legendary SSJ transformation 1,000..I mean 3,000 years ago...I mean, 30 years ago or whenever Brolli was born. But nevermind... Brolli isn't canon, so Goku, because he's the legendary SSJ, according to some fans who like easy explanations. But anyway, there was definately a Saiyanfish involved at some point. It obviously caused Goku to magically warp back in time 1,000 years, but the magic also caused 1,000 and 3,000 to be the exact same thing. The Saiyanfish fills all plotholes!
Let's canonize it immediately.

Erm, right. The question's been answered, so there's no need to post about the fish or anything anymore. EX, feel free to lock this topic.
