Favorite Story Mode?

Of the ones I've played, Budokai 1 and 2 are the best. Especially how Budokai 2 kept the dialogue closer to the original like Goku's selfish wish for Vegeta to stay alive to fight him again.

I’m the kind of person who likes the story that sticks completely to the series (and that’s why I absolutely hate Super Sonic Warriors)

So I think the best story has to defiantly be Legacy of Goku 1,2 and Buu’s Fury!

But that is just my opinion…

My favorite story mode is by far Super Sonic Warriors/Bukuu Tougeki's, with the What If stories. If Budokai 3 had what-if stories for every character (especially that crazy-assed Saibaiman story you can hear when the language is set to English!), it would have a pretty fun story mode.

I was also fond of the original story in Super Butouden 2 (really!), with Bojack running wild and the evil doubles and stuff.

The original Budokai conveyed the emotion of the events preceding the fight perfectly. That's why I felt significant in the fight between an enemy- the storyline motivated me and made me feel as if I was fighting for something. This is unlike Budokai 3, where the fights felt like a common, no-purpose duel.

Text bubble just don't get me pumped-up for a fight. No drama there.

But the action made up for that.
