I was referring to the Bardock feature, that 'Flash back' was during the Freeza saga, BEFORE FUNimation translated and dubbed the Bardock feature. And the movie left out that horrible quote from Bardock...*shiver*

What, bad music?! You prefer that weak 80's techno track to 'Super Star'?!

Hey what's wrong with "Solid State Scouter"? At least I can hear the dialogue over it! And don't get me wrong, I like my alternative punk music, but just not dubbed over my anime when it wasn't originally intended to be there. I think that's also what Dayspring means too. And also Dues, I don't care if you like watching the dub. That's your choice and it's a free country, if it's what you enjoy, great! As log as we don't force our opinions on one another, it's cool! :D My biggest anime pet peeve has always been anime snobs! People that harp on others for whatever series they like or whatever format of it! Second anime pet peeve-fanboys and fangirls. **shiver**

Solid State Scouter!

It wasn't the best song, but the music itself fit perfectly with the scenes. (But just what is that sound in the background that sounds like the clicking of a camera?)

Sure, some of the BG music in the series can be a bit grating at times (burn me at the stake, but some of the music was annoying). Most of it was good though, and the vocal songs were pure DB. Dan Dan Kokoro, Hitorijanai, Lord Vegeta's Cooking Hell... ^_^

As for the Dub... I can tolerate bad music, but the dialog and Freeza's voice were so awful... Read minds? Heck, that didn't even make sense.

You know you're right! It does sound like a clicking camera!

Don't get me wrong, some of the japanese tracks were awesome. I loved the opening and ending themes, Gohan transforming into SSJ2, and the 'Bum bum bum!". But like someone just said, a lot of the tracks were...just damn annoying! I liked how the movies and features used real rock bands.

Mine would be Goku vs Vegeta episodes

Fav scene is Son Gohan pretending he's the strongest in the universe and Vegeta catching him playing around. This made me find Gohan x100 more likable.

Hmm, It's a REAL hard question to answer as DB, DBZ and DBGT all have their awesomeness that is each distinctly different..

But this one would have to be up there for me, with humour and action

Dragon Ball - The Spirit Canon.. Goku see's Tien Shinhan, 4 Witches technique... Goku, looks serious... people start to worry - BAM Goku's 8 ARMS technique LOL, I never ever expected that

Wow, this thing really is just a skeleton at this point.

my favourite episode/film/special is probably Battle of Gods :P

Buy maybe GT64, or the global spirit bomb in the Buu arc. Or the last episode of the Freeza arc.

It changes regularly for me but I'm going to say Embodiment of Fire. Seeing Goku get his ass kicked and being down and out and then have that horrific nightmare which gives him the strength to wake up and use Kaioken x20 and do damage to Frieza was awesome.

That is really awesome, especially in the dub.

My favourite episode of DBZ 276: Where's the Exit? Escape from Buu's Collapsing Body.

I'd say it has by far the best animation the series has ever had, light on action & plot, but enjoyable.

Since specials count, then it's 'A Lonesome, Final Battle', by far.

I can't narrow it down to one, but I love DB episodes 17, 18, and 19. They're the ones where Goku and Kuririn train for the Tenkaichi Budokai, and are a lot of fun.

Damn, that is a tough one. I have plenty of favourite scenes but an entire episode?! Yeesh.

The second half of #27 and first half of #28 combine into one of my favourite episodes ever. Can't think of any other moment that's as emotional as Piccolo throwing himself in front of Gohan as well as his speech afterwards.

For an answer that doesn't cheat though -

I guess it'd have to be #184. The sense of desperation in that episode really is just gripping and of course, the final scene as Gohan changes is unforgettable. I think the only other that might rival it would be #105 where Trunks battles Freeza.

What can I say? I love insert songs!
