Out of Character Moments in the series

How about this one:

In the manga (Chapter 96) Goku kills Staff Officer Black. Much later Goku spares Freeza's life. Compared to Freeza, Black was a very minor threat. After all he was only human with no super powers. Black didn't kill any of Goku's friends, didn't commit genocide, and obviously wasn't going to kill all the humans and destroy the Earth out of spite. Freeza did, or was going to do, all of the above.

I know this has been debated a few times, but how do you guys feel about characters being out of characters. Such as:

* Goku giving Cell a Senzu Bean.
* Vegeta in one Broly movie moping around and Piccolo snapping him out of it.
* I know this is filler, but when Goku angrily refused food from Annin ("I'm not hungry!!!") because he was trying to save Chi-Chi's castle. Also, he was being rude to Grandpa Gohan.

* Vegeta in one Broly movie moping around and Piccolo snapping him out of it.
* I know this is filler, but when Goku angrily refused food from Annin ("I'm not hungry!!!") because he was trying to save Chi-Chi's castle. Also, he was being rude to Grandpa Gohan.

Liked those i remember showing the Broly Vegeta one's to my friend and school, over and over again.

And giving Cell that Senzu resulted in him having to give up his own life, watch his son get the living crap kicked out of him, then suffer the emotional turmoil of losing his father, Cell coming back even stronger, killing Mirai Trunks, and nearly winning if not for Vegeta's surprise attack.

Am I the only one who thinks Piccolo's sudden acceptance of his Namekian heritage to be OOC? before he fuses with Nail, he seemed to be eager to fight Freeza because he killed Namekians.. it just seemed kind of rushed to me that he so easily accepted his heritage as a Namekian, when less than 2 months ago, he was still saying he was Piccolo Daimao.

You can't blame all of that on Goku giving Cell the Senzu we don't know how weakened Cell was, for all we know he was still too strong for SSJ1 Gohan to handle.

No, it didn't. There's nothing Cell did after healing that Cell couldn't have done without healing. Gohan would have still not fought properly, hence Cell retaining the advantage and then Gohan would still go SSJ2, becoming way stronger than any level of Cell.
