Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
Walmart's price for season 4 still says $38 bucks and Amazon still says $24.99. I know I'm going to feel like I was suckered into buying these first 3 releases if the rest of the sets are expensive to get.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Hey bro do you plan on buying all those blu rays?samuraix123 wrote:Walmart's price for season 4 still says $38 bucks and Amazon still says $24.99. I know I'm going to feel like I was suckered into buying these first 3 releases if the rest of the sets are expensive to get.

Are those actually from the Blu-ray or from someone's encode online? They look terrible. The compression artifacts in the sky should not be something you see on a 'professional' product.
It looks no better than an upscale.
EDIT: Oh, these are screenshots from the trailer? Strange choice but okay, nevermind, disregard my post.

Yeah, I'm returning these sets, not worth it anymore. Too much money to waste on a half-way release.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about the fans a re-issue might alienate because if all they're concerned about is being able to scalp the people who were either unaware of the Dragon Boxes or couldn't afford them at the time, they're just leeches and deserve to have their greed backfire on them.

Those screens are pretty much what the trailer consists of which is hardly anything, I don't really get why FUNimation keeps uploading these 16sec trailers rather than those they used to that lasted for 2-3mins.AjayLikesGaming wrote:EDIT: Oh, these are screenshots from the trailer? I guess they know what the target audience of this release is and so they're not bothered making better trailers.

No I have no idea how to delete a post should I just edit it and remove the image?? I guess I could put another image instead. So glad that Ajay is a admin
but don't worry I think I got the solution

Huh, I'm not an admin. I just remember telling you how to edit posts a while ago. You edited a post once and then proceeded to double post again and again.
You only have a short time to delete your post once it's there. If you want to delete it afterwards, just edit it and leave a dash in there and an admin tends to just delete it to tidy things up.

How is the season 4 blu ray bro?
Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
Yep, I thought they would look nice on my shelf as a decor, but now, it's too expensive, might as well get real art.JEFFMAN219 wrote:You actually bought them?Gokuden wrote:Yeah, I'm returning these sets, not worth it anymore. Too much money to waste on a half-way release.
Pretty shady of Funimation to adjust the price of the latest releases, locking consumers who purchased the first few 'seasons'.

@Gokuden I was able to get mine for 16.99 during funimation's huge dbz week I'm sure they will become cheap again within the next month. As for the other question just more of the same if u didn't like the first three seasons nothing will change your mind in this one. The special features are very interesting though.
