Goku didn't get stronger after absorbing them like the Artificial Humans did. He gets injured & exhausted by doing so. He doesn't seem to absorb ki, it seems more like he absorbs the explosion of the blast.

How did he imply he was stronger than Goku? He never admitted Goku was weaker than him to begin with.

GT Pan vs. Buu Saga Base Goku. Some people believe GT Pan is stronger then a normal SSj and Beerus stated that Goku won't able to beat Freeza in his base form. So who wins this one?

How strong were the random Ghost Warriors in the original PTETS? Everyone was SSJ while fighting them, though they're ki was weakening. However they seemed to have transformed before even knowing that.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

He cancels out the attacks at the cost of his energy. Its like playing a game with a stamina bar. You block attacks, nullifying damage but at the cost of stamina.

Without he wins.

The smallest things hurt him badly so he doesn't seem very strong, just a bit durable.
