The "infamous" movie poster
Does anyone know if this poster is even real or what its source is?

Wow, that sure brings me back to my Beckett reading days. Now that we've got the main topic (is this poster fake? yes) out of the way, does anyone know what the poster is of? I remember either thinking it was mecha Frieza, but now I think it's someone in SSJ form (with a strange ovular eye that's reflecting off of some kind of map). I'm pretty sure it's some kind of eye, since the top left corner looks like an eyebrow...

I've always thought it was supposed to be a Saiyajin, wearing a scouter of some sort.DaemonCorps wrote:Wow, that sure brings me back to my Beckett reading days. This is the first I have seen of this poster, but ya it's most likely a rumor, I would love to see a DBZ Live Action Movie though, just it would need an original storyline, not a re-telling.

Heh thank god there is not a live action movie by Fox. Remember the one in the late eighties *shudders* and think how bad it would be with Fox Studios as the helm... ugh I think I'm going to be sick thinking about it.
As for that poster I remember when that was first shown on the internet. We all know it shows an eye but who's or what everything else is supposed to represent I don't know. I always thought it was an eye of someone reflected in a dragonball. It's all geusswork so yours is as good as mine...

Whoa, whoa. The Dragon Ball live action movie was f'ing HILARIOUS. Have you seen it? I need to search for it on ebay or something. It's quite enjoyable. But if they made a serious DBZ live action movie...I'd...
Kill myself. Okay, maybe not that far...but it would suck, and suck hard. Let's hope they don't ever make it, and let's hope the fanboys who do want it die from spontaneous combustion.

Think how bad it would be with *any* studio at the helm. There's nothing to say it would be any worse with 20th Century Fox doing it compared to someone else. Not trying to be pessimistic but I don't believe anyone really has any idea of how to do a live-action DBZ movie correctly. :\Maphisto86 wrote:Heh thank god there is not a live action movie by Fox. When comic books/cartoons are made into live-action movies, the directors are looking to make a great movie.tarsonis wrote:Think how bad it would be with *any* studio at the helm. So, in the event that a DBZ movie was made, they would make a movie. Not a DragonBall Z movie, but a movie. Meaning that it would include many gimmicks, jokes, and they would screw a lot of shit up.
I guess we can all agree that a DBZ live-action movie should be kept as an idle thought.

About the poster... I always used to think they were bells or something... it was only till recently I discovered the eyebrow.
