Dragonball Z in MikuMikuDance

Post by AnzuMazaki » Tue May 13, 2014 10:14 am

Do any of you on Kanzenshuu use or watch MikuMikuDance?
It's one of my favourite programs to use and there are a few Dragonball models out there mostly made by karota318cv and myself and I have made some videos as well and heaps of other people have made them too.
Here are some Dragonball MMD videos:

Made by other people:

Made by me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02_yNMcAKYA (WARNING: Old video from 2012, contains very girly looking versions of Yamcha, Kuririn and Tenshinhan, all old models that I made which I do not use anymore due to said girliness, I have made better versions of Yamcha and Kuririn since then, as seen in the video above this one)

MMD is also not ONLY used for Dance videos but for funny memes as well, check out these meme videos I have made as well (contains other characters from other anime and shows as well)

Also if you want to try MMD yourselves and can't find any DBZ models here are mine and karota318cv's models to download :D
http://bowlroll.net/up/sc?user=karota318 (contains Goku, Vegeta, Gohan as the Great Saiyaman, Goten, Lunch, Roshi, Bardock, Raditz, Tullece, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Future Trunks, Kid Trunks, and Kuririn as well as the Dragonballs and a Planet Namek stage)

http://ux.getuploader.com/karota318/ (contains some of the models above + Frieza, Chichi and Namek Saga Bulma)

http://mihonosaka-mmd.deviantart.com/ (contains Gohan, Gine, Buu Saga Bulma, Red Ribbon Army Saga Bulma and Yamcha, Pan, Bra, Pilaf/Kame training saga Kuririn, Bulma, Yamcha and Goku plus a few female cosplayers, Kaito cosplaying as Tenshinhan and a really shitty Lunch model, plus I have made six DBZ bases for those who want to make their own DBZ models too)

What do you think of MikuMikuDance? :D Are you a fan or is MMD not your cup of tea?
I personally love MMD and think it's fun, it's my current addiction atm XD
Wishes she can change her name to YamchaFan (her name everywhere else)
Obssessed with the Earthlings and the original DB anime

Bardock doing the O.T.N dance, did not see that coming. I should not have underestimated the internet.

Anyway I used to watch tons of MMD stuff back 4 years ago when I first got into Vocaloid. Now I really only watch the stuff done for original Vocaloid PV's or whatever pops up in my sub box. It was actually this Ginyu Force parody vid that got me into Vocaloid, so if it wasn't for DBZ and MMD I might not have discovered Vocaloid. Though I'm still waiting for DBZ models on par with the Project Diva and TDA Vocaloid models

Seems complicated...
Why not make some cool fights instead of dancing?...

MMD is mainly used within the Vocaloid fandom (hence the "Miku" part of the name) which is more focussed on music, so the high amounts of dance videos is just that aspect of the Vocaloid fandom carrying over. Not to mention finding dance motion data would be a million times more easy due to the high number of dance motion data that has been made. Though there are some fight videos, like this DBZ parody. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EehIO2rkWF8
