Seeing those bigger pictures, I must say the graphics look more impressive than I thought!

Do you think that because he's got his right eye closed?, or is it something else that is making it look off to you?

His face looks a little long rather than wide.

In the goku vs frieza pic, goku's face resembles that of the one they used in the tenkaichi 1 cinematic intro. Imo. What do u guys think?

I'm not even sure what, but his face in general just looks weird to me.

This BETTER be gameplay and not a stupid cutscene...
That Kamehameha is freaking amazing...

I hope those are the PS4 scans. It seems like next gen games of multi plat games tend to look different then they do on the consoles or even worst. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game on the PS4, PC and Xbox One looks awful. The cut scenes look like a late PS2 game, Resident Evil 4 looks better in that piece of shit did.

My amazing spider-man 2 looks great on Xbox One. It's not that much different from 360 but it's better this PS2.

Even if it isn't gameplay we know we'll have good cutscenes at least.

Failing that good artwork.

Correct it's just about what you'd expect from a last-gen game but for a current-gen it's kind of disappointing because the graphics don't really look very good nor is game itself true to the film it's based on (TASM2).

The website is open. From that Goku's face, I'm calling it. It's Dimps!

Apparently it's written on the site that's actually DIMPS, but I'm not sure. My knowledge on Japanese is non-existant.

Goku's face is giving me strong Dimps vibes, but there's no way I'm getting my hopes up for that.

Nope. Gotta squash this rising joy quick smart.

All we need is a translator.

I'm getting hyped.

Wikipedia's page for Dimps tells me it's rendered in Japanese as "ディンプス" which I can't seem to find anywhere on that page.

I'd be shocked if it was DIMPS - surely there can't be three developers in Japan developing big Dragonball titles in such close proximity to each other? Keep in mind that in the space of this year alone we've had Spike Churnsoft for Jump Stars and Artdink for Battle of Z...

I looked and didn't find the official Japanese signs for Dimps, just like Saiga...
A guy named "Treevax" apparently said he could now "finally say" that it's Dimps because it's written in the credits on the bottom of the website (giving the right to unveil the info), and yet...

In the specs section, there is a lot of the same two signs repeating, that must mean something like "unannounced" or "information yet to come"...
And among those, must be "developer". Like "Game Developper: wait for more info".

The artistic direction for the "Namek Apocalypse" background with all the lava seems very similar to the one from Burst Limit in the choice of colors, structure, sky and all...
But at the same time, Goku's Super Saiyan eyes seem to be plain green, with no inner detail, which is unlike Burst Limit and doesn't fit with Dimps' latest artistic choices.

Yet, as some of you noted, the main Goku model shown on the page seems to fit Dimps style. The effects of light and shadows would imply it's taken from the game, but who truly knows if it's not some edited placeholder picture using models from a previous game?
If it is Dimps, it's probably a 2D fighting system, which would imply that all screenshots are from cutscenes or special gameplay sequences (whether it's out-of-battle exploration or in-battle mini-games of attacker/defender like Budokai 3 and Burst Limit).

Judging by the Kame Hame Ha shot, I would also bet it's Spike. The way the camera and characters are placed just seems typical of what you see during a battle when you fire a (raging) blast.

The way stages are set inspire me free roaming around, which goes with Spike's gameplay as well.

I wonder when we'll get an answer. I'm surprised the name of the developer is not the first thing that's announced when the website opens...
