Do you think they will make any effort to make the PS4 version look better?

I'm guessing higher resolution and better anti-aliasing but what about better textures or effects?

Probably because they know they can generate more buzz by keeping it under wraps for now. Truth be told, if they had announced the developer along with the 'new project' reveal, how many people posting in this thread would have turned their nose up at it at the offset for one reason or another? They know that the less they reveal now the more room people will have to speculate - which in terms of the Dragonball fandom is a sure fire way to string the hardcore contingent along.

Most likely the models and textures will be identical, just rendered at higher settings on the improved hardware for the PS4 version.

I can't quite put my finger on why but the stages still look so lifeless to me. Maybe in actual gameplay they'll look better but it's almost like the character models have gotten better but the stages are stuck in the PS2 era.

So dimps are making a 3D fighter ? well at least this time we have a devolepor who knows what to do with the series,i just hope it doesn't end at the cell arc like burst limit did
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I looked and didn't find the official Japanese signs for Dimps, just like Saiga...

i can read japanese BUT right now there's no "dimps" on that website frontpage...I don't know about hidden pages etc...

The Saint Seiya game they made was a 3D fighter so hopfully this one will be too

The one on the website and the Goku vs Frieza looks like Dimps, but the picture with Goku in his pose vs Vegeta definitely looks like Spike. The "new" character also likes like a Spike model.

There is no "Dimps" anywhere on that page.

Only from the trailer (if there is one) will we be able to 100% confirm. I think it could be either. Though if it is a new company props to them.

Saint Seiya Senki (by Dimps) for PS3 was good (at least the duels 1v1), but Brave Warriors is too much "Storm-like", and in fact it sucks.

I dont remember the last time I liked the character models. At least this time, this seems great.
That ssj Goku vs Freeza shot has Dimps written all over it.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

It's really a shame that there isn't a main site knowledgeable in Japanese to translate the text on the site ... I even checked the source code and Dimps never appears.

None of the Japanese games press have mentioned the developer. Dengeki has mistakenly listed the game for Vita, though.

I heard from someone on Saiyan Island that Treevax made a mistake and does not know who is to be Developing this title.
