Meruem too seems to be inspired by Cell (namely the tail and hands), but I see some Freeza in there also. He shares similarities with the 4 Z villains & King Piccolo in terms of personality though, really like the Chimera Ant arc because it reminds me of DBZ. Then again, I've always said Togashi & Toriyama write similarly.
